Lakshya - IMNU “Lakshya” is the in-house magazine of Institute of Management, Nirma University with an aim of preparing students better for the placements.

The most important indicator determining the success of any B-School is always and will be placements. The competition is getting fiercer each day as a student is competing not only with his/her college peers but also with peers across all B-Schools in the nation. Thus, it is of prime importance for a B-School to give its level best to prepare its students for placements. While the importance of p

lacements is well-known to each and every stakeholder in a B-School and everyone keeps giving informal inputs in this regard whenever an opportunity arises, students often feel confused as to what is the best way to prepare for placements. IMNU’s situation in this regard is no different and their comes the savior. "Lakshya" provides that missing formal platform which guides students on how to prepare for placements. The inputs come from the people with experience, exposure and domain knowledge, i.e. the faculty apart from other stakeholders. Apart from the lectures, the faculty in the institute also doesn’t have any platform for interacting with all the management students collectively and sharing any insights or useful research they have been involved in. It has also been observed that the Director and other top management of the institute require a formal and regular platform to collectively inspire and give strategic updates (the big picture) to the students, so that students develop an understanding of the situation and find out where they can fit themselves to gain maximum advantage from the course.
