Posted • Have you ever been this frustrated with yourself in pursuit of a goal? You’ve worked so hard, time and time again yet nothing seems to go right?
You put in your entire heart and soul and all it comes back with is failure after failure.

Rejection after rejection.

Or simply, nothing happens. You haven’t gone backwards but you certainly haven’t gone forwards.
You’re at a standstill.
And you think ‘WHY? Why is it so hard? Why can’t I do this?’
Well I’ve been there. So. Many. Times.
You don’t get this comfortable with failure without having first been knocked back constantly over the years.
Redundancies, rejected job applications, unrequited like, sh*t test scores, race DNFs

But still it stings. And last weekend’s race DNF got me good. I still go over and over it in my head.

Could I have done more? Why didn’t I finish?

And this is where you stop right there. This is where you stop analysing what you could have done.
Sure you f*cked up. Fine. But it’s over. It’s in the past.
The difference between you going on to succeed vs you not is the very next thing you do.

If you want to succeed, you have to get right back up on that horse.
You have to dust yourself off.
You have to look at that failure in the rearview mirror

You have to work harder,
You have to train harder,
than ever before.
You have to be willing to suffer

You have to be willing to go to places you’ve never gone before.

Because don’t be fooled - success doesn’t come easy

There will be wins and there will be losses.

The person who fails is the one who quits after just one loss.
The person who succeeds is the one who responds to a loss as if they’ve just won.

I know which one I’m gonna be.

And I know which one you could be too-
