On 30.12.2024 Secunderabad Railway Police, RPF have organized surprise checking against the Drugs peddlers on platforms and trains at Secunderabad Railway Station, and apprehended two male accused persons who were transporting Dry Ganja from Barhampur of Odisha State to Dadar, Mumbai of Maharashtra State via Secunderabad.
Ganja Peddlers:-
A-1) Manos, R/o Odisha State (Absconding)
A-2): Sraban Nayak S/o Xiver Nayak, age: 29 years, Occ: Fast food business in Kerala, R/o 093, Ghasapada village, Gajapati District, Odisha.
A-3): Tafan Bishoye S/o Rasananda Bishoye, age: 27 years, Occ: Labour in Kerala, R/o Ghasapada village, Gajapati District, Odisha.
(A-2 & A-3 arrested on 30-12-2024)
The accused persons A-2) and A-3) are cousins, belong to Ghodapanka village of Odisha State and best friends too. They addicted to consuming alcohol, smoking cigarette. Both work in separate areas in the Calicut area of Kerala State. Few months ago A-2 & A-3 returned to their village to celebrate Christmas. As such on 24.12.2024 A-2 visited his mother-in-law’s village. A-1 met A-2 and lured that he had 5 Kgs of ganja in two packets, if he transports it to Dadar in Mumbai, he would pay ₹ 10,000/- and there someone known to him would receive it. On that the A-2 agreed and on 26.12.2024 A-1 called A-2 to a forest area and handed over him two packets of ganja and directed him to transport them to Dadar. The A-2 agreed and hidden the two packets in an isolated area before returning home. Later, the A-2 shared the same matter to his best friend A-3 and promised to pay him ₹5,000 if he helped transport the ganja, then A-3 agreed to his offer. According to their plan, on 29.12.2024 the A-2 along with A-3 went to the place where the ganja was hidden with two shoulder bags
