*Infiltration Bid Foiled, One Militant Killed In hajipeer sector if uri area*
Uri, April 05(kGN) An unidentified militant was killed after forces foiled an Infiltration bid in Sahoora Nala at loc in Uri sector of Baramulla district.
As per officials during wee hours, a movement of militants was detected. Infiltraters were challenged by the security forces, leading to a gunfight.
During reteliation one militant was killed, whose identity was not yet ascertained,caso is still going on in this area.

The pmgsy road not only of these two villages but in number of villages in uri is used as source of money by contractors . Hatlanga road is another example of corruption where the earthwork estimate of road in paper is shown 12 kms but in reality the work done is for 9kms only .

Indianarmy organises cycle rally in uri sector,50 children show their participation in 2 kms long rally.
Indian army kalaphar brigade uri today on 4th of december 2023 organises a 2kms long cycle rally from N S bridge to kalphar brigade having motive to aware people about pollution caused due to motorable vehicles, The rally was flagged of by SHO uri and Army officers of 16 sikhli in which more than 50 participants of below 14 yrs age took part . The riders were carrying paper boards pasted on their cycles having message to use cycle foe short travel instead of using motorable vehicles.Later on while talking with media persons officials said that such programmes will be carried out on continious basis in order to boost the children and bring their morale up.At the end of the event prices were also distributed among the participants.
