After watching , I find myself lost in thought. The preciousness of life is evident as one human risks their life to help another, driven either by love or the desire to overcome the guilt of existence. The entire group of friends coming together to save another friend showcases our animalistic nature and the instinct for protection within groups. It reflects the evolution of humans, highlighting how we once protected each other while staying inside caves. But what about outside the cave?
It prompts me to ponder this from a different perspective. While inside the cave, we were merely against nature and the wild, protecting ourselves; we were not against each other. Love, then, is nothing but tolerating each other and being willing to make sacrifices to aid someone in trouble. Great art always teaches us and prompts us to contemplate our origins and identity. This movie, on a psychological level, accomplishes just that. is a triumph of humans against nature and the wild.
