"This book has lived in my heart for as long as I can remember — a dream I held close, waiting for the right moment to bring it to life. On 16th October 2020, my mother left for her heavenly home. Her absence carved an ache in my soul, but her words remained, like gentle footprints that could never be washed away.
In these pages, you will find pieces of her, pieces of me, and the unbreakable thread that binds us still. My hope is that every reader will feel the love, the longing, and the quiet truths within these poems and perhaps find reflections of their own stories in them.
This book is my tribute to her. It is my way of saying: love lives here still."

Love Lives Here Still is more than just a collection of poems - it is the weaving together of two voices, two hearts, and a love that time cannot diminish. Some of these verses were penned by my late mother Khremoü Liegise, whose words still carry the warmth of her spirit. Others are my own, written during different phases of life, each one shaped by life, memory, and the bond we shared.

Meet the author of our upcoming publication, "Love Lives Here Still".

Niepusino Liegise is an educator and a lawyer with over a decade of experience working with children. Her passion for words began early, nurtured through years of reading books and filling journals with her thoughts and reflections. Writing has always been her way of capturing moments, emotions, and the quiet truths of life.
When she is not immersed in reading or writing, Niepusino finds joy in the kitchen, creating meals with the same love and creativity she brings to her poetry. Love Lives Here Still is her dream project — a tribute to her late mother and a celebration of the bond they share through words.

We are excited to announce the publication of "Love Lives Here Still" by Niepusino Liegise, a tender tapestry of two voices — a mother and a daughter — bound by words, memory, and a love that time cannot erase.
Some of the poems in the collection were penned by the author’s late mother, carrying the warmth of her spirit and the depth of her wisdom. Others are the author’s own, written from her school days to the present, tracing a journey through girlhood, loss, resilience, and love in all its forms.
Together, these verses form a conversation across years and across worlds — between what was, what is, and what will always be. In these pages, grief becomes grace, and memory blooms into poetry. For anyone who has loved, lost, and found pieces of themselves in another’s words, this collection is a reminder that love never truly leaves — it lives here still.

"The air in my tiny apartment is thick with the scent of chamomile tea, my nightly ritual now, a feeble attempt to soothe the storm inside. Outside, the world moves on, indifferent. But for those of us who have survived the wreckage of a broken marriage, the echoes of “I do” have long faded into
“why did you?”"

It is with much excitement that we reveal the cover of a much anticipated publication, "The Light After The Storm" by Vibeituonuo Kuotsu Solo.

"My time at PenThrill has been truly enriching. I came here with little knowledge, but I am leaving with confidence, new skills, and valuable experiences. I learned how to write a haiku, gained insights into journalism & report writing, and also explored the process of publication, book design, and patterns."

And that's our solo September intern from Alder College, Kohima, Cisa Shupao, whom we've had the joy of having for the last 10 days. She received her Internship Completion Certificate from Netu Rosy Krocha at The Story Keeper this afternoon.
