The India GCC Trade Council recently hosted the UN South-South Cooperation meeting in New Delhi, attended by several ambassadors and members of the diplomatic community. Prof. Dr. K.S. Rana, Trade Commissioner of the India GCC Trade Council, warmly welcomed ambassadors from countries including the Kyrgyz Republic, Kingdom of Lesotho, Republic of Cuba, Algeria, Oman, Bahrain, and the UAE.

Lesotho’s High Commissioner, Lebohang Valentine Mochaba, shared initiatives spearheaded by Lesotho, while representatives from the Kyrgyz Republic briefed attendees on the collaborative efforts between Bishkek and India. Charge d'Affaires of the Republic of Cuba, HE Abel Despaigne, extended an invitation to Indian companies, expressing Cuba's commitment to fostering robust bilateral partnerships.

A particular focus of the event was the Sultanate of Oman, a nation rich in opportunities for bilateral trade in oil, limestone, minerals, and education. Strengthening relations between India and Oman was recently highlighted by the arrival of Indian Naval Ships Tir, Shardul, and the Coast Guard Ship Veera in Muscat for a port call, emphasizing the growing maritime ties between the two nations.

Prof. Dr. K.S. Rana, who also serves as Vice Chancellor of the University of Technology, Rajasthan, was presented with an appointment certificate by former Congress leader and ex-Union Minister KV Thomas, the Kerala government's special representative. With extensive experience in environmental science, Prof. Rana's leadership is expected to significantly contribute to education and research collaborations between India and the GCC nations.

The event also saw participation from Manjesh Grover, Deputy Chief of Protocol, Ministry of External Affairs, who emphasized India’s commitment to strengthening relationships with South-South Cooperation nations. Prof. Rana, in his address, underscored the importance of global trade relations and called for increased collaboration between Indian and Omani institutions, particularly in education.

Dr. Asif Iqbal, President of the Indian Economic Trade Organization, also expressed optimism about the forthcoming Indian delegation to Oman, which aims to explore business opportunities in sectors such as agriculture, meat processing, and infrastructure, with a special focus on education.

Prof. Rana, who has previously served as Vice Chancellor of Mewar University, Kumaun University, and Nalanda State University, will now lead delegations to the GCC nations, aiming to build stronger trade and education ties.

**Grand event of London International Conference & Awards 2024**

**London, 21 June, 2024** — The prestigious London International Conference & Awards 2024 presented by Samia International Builders was held at the historic House of Lords. The conference was attended by many distinguished and dignitaries including former MP of Janata Dal (United) K C Tyagi, UK Minister Paul Scully, BJP MLA from Jewar Thakur Dhirendra Singh, Dr. Hariom Tyagi, Usman Jameel Khan and Dr. Margaoub Tyagi.

The event felicitated visionaries, pioneers and innovators from various industries and discussed on “Business and Investment”. This grand event presented by Samia International Builders aimed to promote the spirit of collaboration in the field of business and honour those who have done excellent work in various fields.

The event began with the welcome address by Dr. Hariom Tyagi, Chairman of WCC Management UK Ltd and Managing Editor of Observer Dawn Magazine. Dr. Tyagi said that the purpose of this program is to recognize and honor those who have reshaped industries and contributed to strengthening economies. Dr. Tyagi also said that the purpose of this program is to promote business relations between India and England.

लंदन, 25 अप्रैल, 2024 — प्रतिष्ठित लंदन अंतर्राष्ट्रीय सम्मेलन और पुरस्कार 2024 का आयोजन ऐतिहासिक हाउस ऑफ लॉर्ड्स में हुआ। सम्मेलन में जनता दल (यूनाइटेड) के पूर्व सांसद के सी त्यागी, यूके के मंत्री पॉल स्कली, जेवर से भाजपा विधायक ठाकुर धीरेंद्र सिंह और ग्लोबल बिजनेस फेडरेशन के चेयरपर्सन डॉ. संजीव बंसल सहित कई विशिष्ट और गणमान्य व्यक्ति शामिल थे।
कार्यक्रम में विभिन्न उद्योगों के दूरदर्शी, अग्रणी और नवप्रवर्तकों को सम्मानित किया गया तथा "व्यापार और निवेश" पर परिचर्चा की गई। यह शानदार आयोजन सामिया इंटरनेशनल बिल्डर्स द्वारा प्रस्तुत किया गया, जिसका उद्देश्य व्यवसाय के क्षेत्र में सहयोग की भावना को बढ़ावा देना और विभिन्न क्षेत्रों में उत्कृष्ट कार्य करने वालों को सम्मानित करना था।
कार्यक्रम की शुरुआत डॉ. हरिओम त्यागी, डब्ल्यूसीसी मैनेजमेंट यूके लिमिटेड के अध्यक्ष और ऑब्जर्वर डॉन मैगजीन के प्रबंध संपादक के स्वागत भाषण के साथ हुई। डॉ. त्यागी ने कहा कि इस कार्यक्रम का उद्देश्य उन लोगों को पहचानना और सम्मानित करना है जिन्होंने उद्योगों को नया रूप दिया और अर्थव्यवस्थाओं को मजबूत करने में योगदान दिया। डॉ. त्यागी ने यह भी कहा कि इस कार्यक्रम का मकसद भारत और इंग्लैंड के बीच व्यापारिक रिश्तों को बढ़ावा देना है।
