The Outreach Club is pleased to present to you an interview with the President and former director of the Indian Statistical Institute, Sankar Kumar Pal Sir. He is a computer scientist, and he founded the Machine Intelligence Unit in 1993, and the Center for Soft Computing Research: A National Facility in 2004, both at the ISI. He is also the founder and president of the Indian National Academy of Engineering, Kolkata Chapter. SK Pal Sir is the recipient of numerous awards, including the 1990 Shanti Swarup Bhatnagar Prize (which is the most coveted award in science in India), the Padma Shri award in 2013. "A good snapshot keeps a moment from running away". Vista, the annual photography, animation and design exhibition concluded with a blast on 3rd January. An evening filled with creativity, displaying the artistic talent of our students was a completely different experience. Mr. Srinivas Gokulnath | Spardha '22 | Outreach Club | IIT(BHU) Varanasi

Ultra-Cyclist Srinivas Gokulnath is the first solo Indian to complete Race Across America (RAAM) in 2017, in which the cyclists had to climb as high as 30,000m in the Alps! He has also successfully completed the 2200 km Race Around Austria (RAA) in five days, 10 hours and nine minutes.
