Realme 8 Pro and Realme 8 smartphones are coming later this week. Their launch is set for March 24 and this is a global event where Realme will announce the two phones. There has been a lot of details that we have been chewing on in terms of the design, features, and specifications of the Realme 8 series phones. The headline feature is going to be the 108MP camera on the Realme 8 Pro, which the company talked about at length at the recently-held Camera Innovation Event. And this camera is what will define the Realme 8 series more than anything else.
Among the horde of specifications that we are so deep in, there is hardly anything left to the imagination. Realme has officially teased the Realme 8 Pro and Realme 8 in videos and photos, so there is nothing anticipated there as well. But, thanks to the specifications that are already out, we pretty much know how different the Realme 8 Pro and Realme 8 are going to be. This is a roundup of everything we know about the Realme 8 series.

Facebook Reels goes official in India | TECHBYTES
#facebook #reels #techbytes
Facebook's short form video test in India is now officially called "Reels." Facebook users can now create and share Reels on the News Feed.
Facebook is rebranding its TikTok-like short form videos to Reels. Facebook had started testing the ability for users to create and share short form videos on the News Feed last year in India.
Facebook Reels is similar to Instagram Reels wherein users can select a song from Facebook's music library, choose different effects, set a timer, speed up or slow down the video, and more.
Facebook is still keeping Reels different on each platform. Facebook Reels will stay on Facebook with the option of sharing it on the News Feed. The same goes for Instagram Reels, which can be shared only on the app. It's only for select creators that Facebook is allowing cross-platform sharing. There's no word yet on when Facebook will make this feature open to all creators on Instagram.

Xiaomi has already been launching a range of Redmi TVs in home-country China and the brand could be bringing some of these variants to India during the March 17 launch.
Xiaomi spin-off Redmi will be launching the Redmi TV in India on March 17. The brand has been sending out the launch invites for the same.
The Redmi TV invite suggests that the brand will be bringing an XL experience to viewers with the new Redmi TVs. While no specifications or screen sizes have been hinted at yet, it seems Redmi will be launching multiple sizes, at least one of which could be a large size TV.
The Redmi TVs will be different compared to the Mi-series of televisions in India. Since the new products are launching under the Redmi brand and not the Xiaomi brand, we think the new TVs could be budget-friendly additions to the brand’s Television lineup.

The new privacy pop-up notifications, which will be part of an iPhone software update, will start appearing on most iPhones in late March or some point in April,
The delay in its anticipated rollout aims to placate Facebook and other digital services that depend on such data surveillance to help sell ads.
The one-time notices will require an app developer to ask a user's permission before the app tracks their activities "across other companies' apps and websites." Digital advertising experts believe that the warning will cause many users to decline permission.
Google said on Tuesday that is proactively working with Apple to improve the alternative offering.
