Change has becme order of infrasrucure in Mumbai. The city is in massive cnstruction. For nearly half a decade now, Mumbai has been a maze of construction sites due to several multi-crore infrastructure projects going on. To ensure that the city is less cluttered by construction in the new year, government authorities are trying to speed up some projects. The Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA), which is implementing the bulk of these works, has put in place an “acceleration plan” to pare the setback to various projects caused by delays due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
Redevelpmen schemes are in place in suburban city locality like Borivali, Vikhtrli, Kanjurmarg and even nearb city Thane.

Use of chemichally manufactured fertilisers and pasticides has brought down Alphonse Mango production in Sindhudurga - Devgad belt of Maharashtra. The farmers of the region known for producing this king of mango are now struggeling from megre production to realisation of right price. At this juncture, a local trader Sandeep Sawant has brought organic farming as answar and solution.

This lone trader of Varde village is reaching out to the farmers and motivating them to opt for organic farming.

Shocking ! Even after so many years , stone carving artisans are not getting stone legally for their work. All stones are mostly comes through black market. When I contacted State Handicrafts Department, its Director says that his department has applied for licemce for lease for mining in 6 places. Time will tell the future of the Oriya Artisans community . On the other hand, the state is witnessing large scale migration of artisans for livelihood to other states like Rajasthan, Delhi, Gujarat...

Fani has destroyed over 2.5 million trees in Odisha. But at the efforts by Odisha's Forest Department, around 20000 semi-uprooted trees were restored to earth in Bhubaneswar and sorrounding regions like Puri, Cuttack and Khordha . This is an heart touching positive story what I came accoross whem I was in Odisha . First time in India, a Forest Depatrtment could restore such a large numbers of trees. Congrats to all those were behind this great work....

Officials in the Odisha fisheries and animal resources development department says least 4.2 million birds, mostly broiler chickens, were killed in cyclone Fani. 26 Lakhs chickens perished in Puri district alone where Cyclone Fani had made landfall. Odisha CM has announced revival package. But Poultry Farmers are continuing their struggles for appropriate Governmental support and inclusion in Relief Code.

Cyclone Fani has destroyed many villages and basti in Odisha. But on the last day of Raja, Paan Baraj basti in Bhubaneswar had sent a threelimng message when 60 + aged women started dancing when they were organising a getogether while celebrating Raja. It was wonderful. I was there ......

On my way from Chandanpur to Puri Town, I came accross this Raja special Pann shop in cyclone Fani affected region. I got down and met the Paan shop owner Chandan and buyers standing infront of the shop. I have shared the video here on what I saw there.
