Game Time: A gift for Mumbai's sporting community
Mumbai has been a sports hub for many many years. It has produced stars in all disciplines starting from cricket to other sports. And, the Mumbai media has played a huge role in helping sports grow in the city.
Of late, this hasn't been as was in the past, especially after internet and Social Media revolution. There was a time when athletes would wait for their name to appear in the newspapers for a cut out after a good performance, the previous day. But not anymore. Most newspapers have either shut while others have reduced their pages from 4 to 1 and half leaving Mumbai's sporting community deprived of their local coverage.
Thus, sports lovers (with decent experience) have launched a Mumbai sports weekly with the name of Game Time that will have its focus on inspirational interviews to features to local sports to issues concerning Mumbai's grassroots in all disciplines.
Bringing back the old style of journalism with a new and fresh approach.
It is going to be mostly on Epaper and can be distributed through WhatsApp and social media while others can ask for a physical copy.
