Sub Divisional Magistrate Chahtroo Chairs Meeting for Eid ul Fitr Arrangements at community Hall Chahtroo

3rd of April 2024.

Sub-Divisional Magistrate Chahtro, Nayeem ul Rehman Mughal presided over a comprehensive meeting today to finalize arrangements for Eid ul Fitr arrangements at community hall of Chahtroo. The meeting was attended by officials including Tehsildar Chahtroo, Tehsildar Mughal Maidan, BMO Chahtroo, SHO Chahtroo, TSO Chahtroo, representatives of NHIDCL, Jal Shakti Department, PDD Department, imams of Jamia Masjid Mughal Maidan, and others.
During the meeting, instructions were imparted to the concerned departments to ensure the provision of first-hand facilities at Eid Gahs, maintenance of NH244 as well as all link roads, availability of first aid and ambulance services, provision of ration facilities, and uninterrupted power supply. Cooperation from all stakeholders was emphasized, and strict adherence to all directives was urged.
SDM Chahtroo emphasized the importance of ensuring a smooth and hassle-free Eid celebration for the residents of Sub division Chahtro. All departments were urged to work together closely to ensure the successful implementation of the arrangements.

Today a delegation of Democratic Progressive Azad Party of District Kishtwar met with the Deputy commissioner Kishtwar with regard to initiation of the delimitation of wards of Municipal Council Kishtwar. The proposal already in submission was deliberated with various suggestions to incorporate other areas adjacent to the Municipal Council Kishtwar. The new map inview of the proposed areas be made available to the public for suggestions duly demarcated so that confusion should not prevail in the minds of the public. The new areas to be incorporated in the Municipal limits must be clarified that if they fall in reserve categories, whether they may loose the Reserve benefits by incorporating them in Municipal Council.
Before finalizing the stakeholders, the political parties must be given chance to prove their claim. It was highly appreciated that the OBC community will be given their due share as per the rules of UT / Central OBC in the Municipal Council. Various other issues were also discussed with which relate to the development of our District Kishtwar.
The delegation was attended by Mr Khurshid Ahmed Bhat Former Deputy Commissioner, Vice President DPAP Kishtwar Mr Abdul Gani Shah sahab, vice district president Ghulam Hussain Mir shab, block president kishtwar Tariq Masood Malik shab, vice block president Ali mohd Mir shab, District General Secretary Er anil kumar shan shab.
Lastly, the delegation thanked Deputy commissioner Kishtwar for his patient hearing and it was also agreed that a brief note will be submitted to Deputy commissioner Kishtwar for his kind appraisal and necessary action in the subject matter.

NC City President Kishtwar, Naseer Bagwan demands release of payments under PMAY scheme to households

Kishtwar: National Conference City President Kishtwar, Sh. Naseer Bagwan demands release of payments under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY) scheme to all the householders.

He said that people in town area Kishtwar have initiated the work on construction of houses but the department is not releasing their payments due to which the poor people are suffering most .

He said this is a central government scheme for poor people but locals are alleging that the department issued PMAY houses to those who have already existing buildings and are well off .

He also said that government is not implementing this scheme on ground.

He demands enquiry into the matter and said that department should release the payments to all the households as soon as possible so that the people who are waiting for construction of houses could start their work
