Billion Beats from House of Kalam Billion Beats is e-paper of former President Dr A P J Abdul Kalam. Launched on 14 Nov 2007, it aims to capture success stories of Indians across the globe.

The idea of Billion Beats took birth on 26 October 2007, when Dr Kalam, tired of negative news in the media, wanted to create a platform for positive stories. His idea was put to shape by a team in Bangalore and finally on 14 November 2007 (Children's Day) it was launched from Karimnagar in Andhra Pradesh in the presence of over a lakh of students.

“The paper will celebrate the success of the peo

ple wherever they are. It may be from an agricultural village, or fishing village, it may be from a dairy village, it may be from the industrial or service sector. “We have islands of success in every field of activity; we should connect them to make a garland. I am confident that Billion Beats would create knowledge connectivity among the people,” Dr Kalam said while launching the paper. Billion Beats soon became a hit among lakhs of Indians all over the world. Now, House of Kalam has decided to give a new thrust to Billion Beats and have tied up with Bangalore-based Inspired Indian Foundation for its future publications.
