Heritage Concerts conceives, produces and manages seminal live concerts and events in India and abro
Founded in 2005 in London, United Kingdom and later in India in 2011 by Simant Singh and Sunil Mistry, Heritage Concerts was incepted to organise and promote India's Ghazal Legend Jagjit Singh's live performances around the world. Jagjit Singh's "Voice of Emotions" tours (particularly the UK tour in 2008 and The Classical Revival Series in 2011 in India) followed by theatrical play, Sirhind Di Dee
war (2012) are some of the most memorable productions conceptualised and produced by Heritage Concerts. In October 2012, Heritage Concerts had the honour and privilige of producing with Mrs Chitra Singh a historic concert, titled "Chitra Singh's Shradhanjali to The Master and His Magic", to celebrate Jagjit Singh Ji's life, art, vision and legacy. Conceptualised by Chitra Ji, the concert included stellar performances by Grammy Award winning maestro, Pt. Vishwa Mohan Bhatt, Bhajan Legend, Anup Jalota and Sufi sensation, Richa Sharma before the release of "The Master and His Magic", Jagjit Ji's new album comprising nine of his unreleased compositions. The concert was presented by legendary Farooque Sheikh and attended by India's leading luminaries including UPA Chairperson and Congress President, Mrs Sonia Gandhi. Having realised the potential of its productions as some of the most effective experiential marketing platforms for sponsors and advertisers, Heritage Concerts' illustrious clientele includes some of the leading names in Real Estate, Power Engineering, Pharmaceuticals, BPO and Online Retail sectors.

On this day (Saturday, 17th September), in 2011, Jagjit Ji performed at what turned out to be his last concert in Delhi at Siri Fort Auditorium, a venue that became synonymous with his live performances ever since it got built in 1982.
He holds the record of highest number of performances at Siri Fort Auditorium and many fans over the years have expressed their desire for it to be dedicated to his memory to honour his contribution to Indian culture.

Saddened to hear about Lata Ji’s passing away. The Queen of Melody was paragon of musical excellence. Her voice rules the Indian subcontinent’s air waves and continues to inspire generations of singers as it has done for several decades.
From the very beginning of his career, Jagjit Ji composed several ghazals hoping to have them recorded in Lata Ji’s melodious voice at some point. His dream finally came true when HMV brought both legends together for what turned out to be a landmark album in the history of recorded Indian music. ‘Sajda’ was not only critically acclaimed but broke all previous sales records.
Lata Ji had fond memories of the time she spent with Jagjit Ji in the studio and would share them from time to time. She was so fond of ‘Sajda’, she invited Jagjit Ji to release her follow up ‘Saadgi’ and cited her experience of recording ‘Sajda’ as primary inspiration behind recording her own follow up.
Like Jagjit Ji, Lata Ji was a trained classical singer who forged her own way to the pinnacle of Indian music. She was a perfectionist who helped some of India’s best composers to realise their vision through her golden voice and expressively nuanced singing.
May she rest in eternal peace 🙏🏼💐
