As you know, we all know about the salt and which is a common salt. In medical language it is termed as Sodium Chloride, while in Homeopathy it is Natrum Mur. But this Iodised Salt introduced by a very reputed company in addition to salt having iodine and which was introduced somewhere in the year 1985 or so. After this many companies started producing this iodised salt with different brand names. This was believed that it will overcome the effects of iodine deficiency through by adding iodine in the salt. Iodine is an important ingredient which is there in various vegetarian sources and is important for the functioning of thyroid gland. In the sense, the deficiency of iodine is causing variety of illnesses.
However, the story is long behind the birth of this special salt. Some say that the salt as bi-product of some kind of machinery for making something where the sea water was required. This is how as bi-product, the huge amount of salt accumulated at the site of that laboratory. So what to do since to discourse the huge amount of this salt back in to the sea, large number of convenes was required which was so expensive. Therefore, with the advice of some medical experts and pharmacist's suggestions that if the portion of iodine may be added into it and marketed it as special salt which can minimize the problems of thyroid.
But today, even after the use of this iodised salt by almost every family in the country in spite of minimizing the thyroid problems it got increased a lot, which is not natural rather is artificial. And it was the reason I thought that why not to have the proving of this salt which is almost been used in every family and in every family some cases of thyroid problems are there, particularly in young girls. So, this was the reason of my proving of this special salt.
This salt in potentised form prepared into 3x potency and gave the name Iodised Saltinum. I tried it on my students. The provers I have selected form my students are 4, wghich are from NDSc batch, studying in 2nd year of batch 2022 to 2024. Their names are 1) Shabnam Shaikh 2) Dr. Rachna Khedekar 3)Zubeda Danish 4) Gulnaz Abdul Kalam.
In general symptoms of the proving which was carried out for 7 days. In first prover she had started taking medicine on 4th Jan 2024. As per her statement, 'I started taking this Saltinnum doses 4 pills 3times a day. On first day, no symptoms. On 2nd day again no symptoms. On 3rd day increase in appetite.. On 4th day, I eaten more than my regular meal. On 5th day mood swing (Irritable Mood), wanted to argue and fight, had severe headache along with nausea. Pain in feet sole while standing, On 6th day, same irritated mood, wanted to be quite and appetite was same, I gained 2 kg. On 7th day, mood stable, appetite same. Now, I stopped taking medicine.'
In second case, she produced complaints like 1) Sudden onset of symptoms after 3days were sudden, on 4th days remained like this, there after what she felt was gradually were cracks and peeling of skin on palm region, which actually she was getting recurrent complaint for many years in winter season. Initially, the cracks and roughness on palm were aggravated and followed by amelioration. Then, she had pain on lumbar and sacral region on waking up in morning. Thereafter, sudden abdominal pain with wake up in morning which were aggravating on bending and better on walking and sleep. She was also having restlessness, weeping with colicky pain, became irritated with fear.
In third prover, who started taking tested medicine on 3rd Jan 2024. The doses were 4 pills 3times a day (in same 3x potency). On 1st day, she had no symptoms, 2nd day headache along with right eye pain, right foot pains while walking and feeling prostrated with increased appetite. On 3rd day, right foot pains while walking and weakness was same while doing work. On 4th day, no symptoms, everything was back to normal. On 10th Jan 2024, she stopped taking medicine.
In fourth prover, 'she had started taking medicine on 4th Jan 2024. On 1st amd 2nd day no symptoms. On 3rd day mood swing (Irritable Mood). On 7day, full body itching (Pruritus), night time aggravation (itchy skin), she stopped taking medicine.
The Inference of my study in short, Irritability, Wanted to be quite, Appetite was increased, mood swing, headache, leg pains with itching, Abdominal Pain (sudden onset when wake up in morning better while walking), Weakness while walking. Here I have given the essence of proving which had been found in four. Rest in quite number which are having more or less same. The general symptom was Increased Appetite and Mood Swing.
