“LensWala -The Photography Club”is happy to inform you all, that it is organizing VIEWFINDER Season-III on Friday , 14th September 2012. This season will feature the work of the new talents of the club. The details and the schedule of the event are given below.

Photography Workshop

On-the-spot photography competition would be theme based(to be provided).
Students are most welcome to give their photographs for the exhibition*. Registration for on-the-spot photography competition, Best caption competition would start on Thursday, 13th September 2012. The winners of the different categories would be awarded with the certificates and prizes. The student whose photographs will feature in the exhibition will also be awarded with the certificates.

The Photography workshop would be conducted by Dr Arpan Krishan Deb,
Assistant Professor, Department of Physics.

All the III & V semester students of the University are hereby informed that the classes will commence from 23rd July, 2012. Students are required to report in the hostel/department on 22nd July, 2012.
Hostel accommodation will be available to III and V Semester students only from 22.07.2012 onwards.
Students are further required to submit requisite fee for the semester by 31st July, 2012. In case of delay or default in Fee Payment, penalty will be imposed and necessary action will be initiated as per Para 3 of the University Ordinance 08.

The Economics Society, a student group aimed at stimulating interest in economics is organising a two day fest called Economania on 21st and 22nd March, 2012. Various competitons like Quiz, Treasure Hunt, Crossword etc. are going to be held. It is open to students of all departments.
Its not pure economics based and everyone can easily win prizes. So give it a try!!
