Indo-German Scientific Collaboration set for dynamic growth
Germany has chosen India (New Delhi) to be one of the five countries in the world for setting up the German House for Research and Innovation (DWIH, New Delhi).
Prof.Dr. Ing Matthias Kleiner, President of the German Research Foundation, DFG, said that there is a lot of potential for growth in Indo-German scientific collaboration along different dimensions.

Anand Sharma Lays Foundation Stone of NMTC & AEAMT at CMTI
Anand Sharma, Minister of Commerce and Industry, Govt. of India, laid the foundation stone for a world-class Advanced Nano Technology Laboratory and Academy of Excellence for Advanced Manufacturing Technology at CMTI, Bangalore.
He inaugurated the Advanced Machine Tool Testing Facility (AMTTF) established at CMTI and also dedicated two advanced technology systems at the NMTC laboratory - the Direct Metal Deposition System (Rs. 6 crore equipment, the first of its kind in the country) and the Femto Laser Machining Center procured at the cost of Rs. 3.5 crores.

DMG Mori Seiki Technology Centre inaugurated in Bangalore
Built at a cost of 8 million Euro and spread across an area of 8000 Sq.Mts. the technology centre has a show room where 20 different CNC machines are displayed.
The technology center also accommodates a bonded warehouse for spares, customer training rooms, factory refurbished machines display area, customer support hot line etc.
