: I am not sure of my age. I must be between 50 and 60 years old. I have 4 children. Two died, two are alive. I have been working for 12 years as a pourakarmika. Before that, I used to take care of my two cows. I have thought about changing my work line, but how can I when age is not by my side? I get enough food to eat, a sari and a blouse piece at work every year, and a tip from people every now and then. I am satisfied with life.

: My friend was going to therapists for his depression, but it wasn’t helping. One day he contacted me and confided in me at the behest of his therapist. Sometimes when you are friends with a person, you don’t speak for two years, and when you do connect you take off from where you left off.
My friend and I decided to give alternative methods a shot. We jointly looked up YouTube videos, and my friend decided to try out yoga and it was very helpful. My skepticism for the formal industry behind “curing depression” began from here. Doing yoga and meditation was far more effective than sitting and probably dissecting the problem. Because the solution here is not dissection, it is inclusion and control of thoughts. I think psychologists play a critical role in diagnosing such cases, but I am skeptical about the line of treatment they offer.
