🎓 Despite facing numerous obstacles as a woman in a male-dominated scientific community, Marie Curie persevered and went on to become the first woman to win a Nobel Prize. In fact, she received not just one, but TWO Nobel Prizes!

💡 Her first Nobel Prize came in 1903 when she, along with her husband Pierre Curie and Antoine Henri Becquerel, was recognized for their pioneering research on radioactivity. This award made her the first woman Nobel laureate.

Albert Einstein

Albert Einstein was born in Ulm, Germany, on March 14, 1879. He was a slow learner as a child and did not speak until he was four years old. He also had trouble reading and writing. However, he was always curious about the world around him and loved to ask questions.

One day, when Einstein was five years old, he was playing with a compass. He was fascinated by the fact that the needle always pointed in the same direction, even when he moved the compass around. This led him to wonder about the invisible forces that were at work in the universe.

Einstein's parents were not wealthy, but they did their best to encourage his curiosity. His father gave him a math book when he was seven years old, and Einstein quickly became fascinated by mathematics. He also loved to play the violin.

When Einstein was 12 years old, his family moved to Munich. He did not like the school he attended there, and he eventually dropped out. He then went to a technical school in Zurich, Switzerland. He graduated from technical school in 1900, and he began working as a patent clerk.

Einstein continued to study physics in his spare time. In 1905, he published four papers that revolutionized physics. One of these papers introduced the theory of special relativity, which changed our understanding of space and time.

Einstein continued to make important contributions to physics throughout his life. He was awarded the Nobel Prize in Physics in 1921. He died in 1955 at the age of 76.

Einstein's childhood was not easy, but he never gave up on his dreams. He was a curious and brilliant child, and he grew up to become one of the most famous scientists in history.
