World Organ Donor Day-2019
Department of Community Medicine and NSS team of Vinayaka Missions Medical College, Karaikal organized a Blood donation camp and special Screening camp at Bright Academy School, Karaikal on 13.08.2019 to celebrate the World Organ donor day.
The camp was inaugurated by Mr. Senthil Kumar, Chairman of Bright Academy School . A total of 23 people donated blood during the camp which includes the staff members and parents of the children. A team of Doctors from ENT, Ophthalmology and Community medicine Department screened more than 200 children. We also conducted a health awareness program to the children regarding Personal hygiene and the prevention of common diseases.
