In a display of resilience, residents of Dapal Mishri Bhak and Chountiwari Balla Machil Kupwara have taken it upon themselves to clear snow from the roads following heavy snowfall in the region. Despite repeated appeals to the District Administration and the local government, no official action was taken to clear the roads, leaving the community struggling with daily commuting and essential activities.

The local residents had previously urged authorities to address the issue in a timely manner, warning of further inconvenience. However, the lack of response forced them to step in and clear the snow on their own. Their efforts underline the growing frustration among the community due to administrative neglect in remote areas during harsh winter conditions.

Residents are once again calling on the District Administration and government officials to prioritize snow clearance operations in these remote areas, emphasizing the need for timely action to avoid such challenges in the future.
