When two musical worlds collide, magic happens and Sapphire is living proof. A surprise collaboration between British singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran and India’s soulful powerhouse Arijit Singh, this track has already carved a place in our hearts.
The music is top-notch. The lyrics make us sing along. The visuals are down-to-earth and vibrant. And the fact that Ed Sheeran managed to capture the very essence of the country in all its energy and charisma is amazing.
The song is a rare blend of Sheeran’s poetic songwriting and Arijit’s emotive Hindi vocals; a cross-cultural embrace that feels effortless and elegant. Arijit's part in Sapphire adds an earthy, nostalgic texture, bringing in the weight of memories and longing, while Ed’s smooth delivery grounds the song in a universal theme of love, loss and reflection.
But just when we thought it couldn’t get better, there's news of a Punjabi version on the way. And honestly? We cannot wait.
Punjabi as a language holds rhythm in its bones. It dances, aches and celebrates all at once. With Arijit’s voice carrying the lyrics and possibly a touch of folk instrumentation or rustic Punjabi flavor, Sapphire might just take on a whole new life, one that feels closer to the soil and somehow even more intimate.
In a world often divided by borders and languages, songs like Sapphire remind us that music doesn’t just translate, it transforms. And we’re here for every version of it.
Bring on the Punjabi Sapphire. We’re ready.

Looking for a workout that feels more like fun and less like a chore? India’s fitness scene has a new favorite — aqua board workouts, and they’re making quite a splash!
So, what exactly is it?
Aqua board workouts involve exercising on a floating board placed in a swimming pool. Imagine doing yoga poses, strength moves like lunges or planks and even cardio drills, all the while trying not to fall into the water! The wobbly surface keeps your muscles fully engaged, especially your core, as you balance and move.
Why it’s gaining popularity in India:
- It’s a low-impact workout, gentle on joints and great for all age groups.
- The cool pool setting makes it perfect for Indian summers.
- It improves core strength, stability, balance and posture.
- Adds a playful, refreshing twist to regular workouts.
- Super Instagrammable, fun to do and fun to share!
With gyms and boutique fitness studios in cities like Mumbai, Bengaluru, Pune and Chennai offering classes, it’s quickly becoming the go-to workout for those seeking holistic fitness with a twist of fun.
And the best part? You’ll leave class feeling stronger, lighter and a lot happier without even realizing how hard you worked!
Would you float into fitness this season?

Change happens when we take the first step.
Here are some small yet powerful lifestyle changes that can create a big positive impact on the environment:

1. Carry Your Own Bag, Bottle & Cutlery

It's a small habit, but helps with big waste reduction.

2. Unplug Devices When Not in Use
Saving energy = reducing carbon emissions.

3. Segregate and Compost Waste
Composting kitchen scraps reduces landfill load and produces natural fertilizer.

4. Walk, Cycle or Carpool When You Can
Fewer vehicles means less air pollution and better health.

5. Support Local & Sustainable Brands
Look for eco-labels or zero-waste options.

Finally, spread the word. Talk about your eco-choices and influence your clan. Change spreads through awareness.

After 18 years of memes, heartbreaks and endless hope, Royal Challengers Bengaluru finally brought the cup home! In a heart-stopping finals, RCB defeated Punjab Kings by just 6 runs, claiming their first-ever IPL title and rewriting history.
Batting first, RCB posted 190/9 with steady hands from Kohli, Salt and Livingstone, despite Punjab’s bowling attack led by Arshdeep Singh. The chase had fans on edge, especially in the final over, when Shashank Singh almost pulled off the impossible. But Hazlewood’s nerves of steel sealed the win.
Virat Kohli was in tears as this win was personal. He embraced Anushka Sharma in an emotional moment that went viral, later dedicating the victory to legends AB de Villiers and Chris Gayle. It was the perfect tribute to a legacy built on loyalty, heartbreak and unmatched fan love.
This wasn’t just a cricket match. It was redemption, a dream fulfilled and a night RCB fans will never forget.
This time they meant it when they said, ‘Ee Saala Cup Namde’.

World Everest Day

A tribute to human courage, resilience and the thrill of chasing the impossible.

May 29th is celebrated as World Everest Day, marking the historic 1953 ascent of Mount Everest by Sir Edmund Hillary and Tenzing Norgay.
But here are some fascinating facts about Everest that you might not know
- Everest is still growing!
Thanks to tectonic activity, the mountain gains about 4mm in height each year, making it a literal rising giant.

- The winds up there are brutal.
Wind speeds near the summit can reach up to 200 mph, strong enough to blow climbers off their feet.

- Age is just a number on Everest.
The youngest person to reach the top was only 13 years old, and the oldest was an astonishing 80.

- “Rainbow Valley” is as eerie as it sounds.
It’s a zone near the summit where colourful gear and unrecovered bodies remain. It’s a silent tribute to those who never made it back.

- Yes, there’s 4G at the top of the world.
Thanks to modern tech, climbers can now post, call or even stream from 29,032 feet above sea level.
- The summit offers a rare 360° view of the world.
On a clear day, you can see across Nepal, Tibet, India, Bhutan and even China from the top. A breathtaking view few ever witness.
Whether you're a climber, a dreamer or an armchair adventurer, today’s a reminder that some peaks are worth chasing, literally and metaphorically.

After months of speculation and a casting process that reportedly saw over 30,000 auditions, HBO has finally revealed the young actors who will lead its ambitious Harry Potter television reboot and the internet is ablaze with opinions.

Dominic McLaughlin will don the iconic round glasses as Harry Potter, while Alastair Stout will bring warmth and loyalty to the role of Ron Weasley. But it’s Arabella Stanton’s casting as Hermione Granger that has sparked the most conversation and celebration. Arabella becomes the first Black actress to portray the brilliant young witch, a move that many are praising as a long-overdue step towards better representation.

While Potterheads are thrilled at the prospect of a book-faithful, season-per-book adaptation of J.K. Rowling’s seven-part saga, reactions have been mixed online. Some fans are excited for a fresh start and the chance to explore Hogwarts in greater detail. Others remain skeptical, citing attachment to the original film cast or questioning the need for a reboot at all.

HBO’s social media team preemptively turned off comments on the official casting announcement to shield the young stars from backlash and negativity, a move that reflects both foresight and the intensity of fandom culture in the digital age.

Slated for a 2026 release, the series is being billed as a more immersive retelling, promising to honor the emotional depth and detail of the original books. Each season will cover one book, giving space to explore fan-favorite characters and subplots that the movies rushed or skipped entirely.

While most of us were asleep during the midnight of 21st May, two souls from Karnataka were wide awake, seated amidst the great literary minds of this generation at the International Booker ceremony conducted in London. They had no idea that their work was about to win the International Booker Prize for their masterpiece, ‘Heart Lamp.’
‘Heart Lamp’ is a collection of short stories written by the Karnataka lawyer and activist, Banu Mushtaq over a period of 30 years. Originally written in Kannada, Heart Lamp is the first book of short stories to win the International Booker Prize.
The 12 stories inside the book narrate the lives of women in a patriarchal society in South India. Banu Mushtaq, a women’s rights lawyer and activist becomes the second Indian writer to win this prestigious award, and Deepa Bhasthi becomes the first Indian translator to win the prize.
Mushtaq stated: “The pain, suffering, and helpless lives of these women create a deep emotional response within me, compelling me to write.’ “
Max Porter, from the chair of judges at the International Booker Prize 2025 called the book “genuinely new for the English readers”.
Heart Lamp achieved a historic win at the International Booker Award on several accounts, which include showcasing the depth and art of simple stories that happen every day within people’s households and drawing the spotlight on Kannada literature.
Kudos to Banu Mushtaq and Deepa Bhasthi!

While we see Indian and International celebrities on the red carpet in a variety of stellar attires posing for the cameras, there’s so much more to this film festival. Cannes began in the year1946 with a mission to elevate global cinema beyond politics and borders.
Over time, it has become the ultimate platform for visionary storytelling. At its core is the jury, a group of internationally acclaimed artists, directors and writers, who watch, debate and decide the winners. This year’s main jury is led by legendary French actress Juliette Binoche.
Top honours at the Cannes film festival include the Palme d'Or (Best Film), Grand Prix, Un Certain Regard Prize (for bold storytelling), Best Director, Caméra d'Or (Best Debut) and the La Cinef Awards for student filmmakers.
This year, India proudly takes the spotlight with 4 powerful entries:
1. Homebound by Neeraj Ghaywan (Un Certain Regard)
2. Aranyer Din Ratri by Satyajit Ray (restored classic)
3. Tanvi The Great by Anupam Kher (Cannes Market)
4. A Doll Made Up of Clay (student short, La Cinef)
From heritage to fresh voices, India’s cinema is leaving its mark both in story and spirit.
Keep following for more interesting stories.
