And so, what began as a note on my phone, three months later became a screenplay.
‘DaEMON The Mirror Lies’ is on an extraordinary journey.
Never imagined writing, producing, editing, sound designing and acting in my first feature.
A few weeks after exporting the final edit (done on a good old MacBook with a pair of faded white earphones), we received an official selection.
In the ensuing six weeks, we received 7 official selections at film festivals across five countries and bagged 3 awards.
That's 10 laurels.
Our latest official selection comes closest to home. Thank you Crown Wood International Film Festival, Kolkata!
