By October 2024, this airport will start operation including international flights. All these happened even after the airport's city was changed twice. When Noida Airport was approved, the foundation of Navi Mumbai was already laid. Noida Airport has already got its IATA code 'DXN' and signed MoUs with Indigo and Akasa.
