Indra Kumar’s directorial Dhamaal over the last 17 years has turned out to be one of the longest-running franchises of Hindi Cinema.

It was in 2019, that director Indra Kumar powered-up the
world of Dhamaal by pairing Ajay Devgn, Anil Kapoor and Madhuri Dixit with Riteish Deshmukh, Arshad Warsi and Javed Jaffrey. Notably, the film turned out to be chart-topping. And now Indra Kumar is all set to kick-start shoot for
Dhamaal 4.

Interestingly Ajay Devgn, Anil Kapoor & Madhuri Dixit reunite in the film. Sources close to the development, reveal that Dhamaal 4 will be produced by Bhushan Kumar and will unite the entire cast of Ajay Devgn, Anil Kapoor, Madhuri Dixit, Riteish Deshmukh, Arshad Warsi and Javed Jaffrey.

The conception is to take Dhamaal 4 on floors by the end of 2024. The preparation is in full swing and the project will be the biggest film from the franchise.

After introducing the jungle adventure format in part three, Indra Kumar alongside Ajay Devgn are looking to create a completely new world for Dhamaal 4. With the basic plot locked, the team is now working to design the new visuals.

Dhamaal 4 will have its theatrical release by the end of 2025 and the entire gang is overwhelmed for this comic reunion. Dhamaal 4 isn’t the only film that Indra Kumar is looking to start.

The filmmaker will also reboot his Masti franchise by roping in Milap Milan Zaveri as the director. As per sources close to the development, Masti 4 is also in the casting stage at the moment as the makers are looking to cast a strong ensemble alongside the OG trio of Riteish Deshmukh, Vivek Oberoi and Aftab Shivdasani.

According to source close to the production house, “Masti is also a reboot and will have a narrative closer to the first part. There is an interesting tweak in the tale of Masti 4, which sets it apart from all the earlier films.
Both Dhamaal and Masti hits the big screen in 2025.

Ameesha Patel became a household name after the massive success of Gadar.

Ameesha Patel has worked in several big Bollywood films, but it was Gadar with Sunny Deol that shot her to fame and won for her name fame. She became an household name.

The 2001 romantic period action drama, featuring Sunny Deol in the lead role, is the second most-watched film in India since the 1990s. But not many know it was Sanjay Leela Bhansali who advised her to retire after the film’s success.

Anil Sharma’s directorial Gadar, set amidst the partition of India in 1947 set ablaze the box and setting many landmarks including 50 million+ footfalls in India. The film made a total collection of $1.33 billion worldwide. A sequel was released in 2023, received massive praises, and became the eighth highest-grossing Hindi film of all time.

While Gadar 2 reprised Ameesha Patel as Sakina, it would not have been possible had she listened to the advice of Sanjay Leela Bhansali.

Ameesha Patel had revealed in her interview that Sanjay Leela Bhansali, after watching Gadar, wrote a really beautiful letter, complimentary letter to her and when she had a meeting with him, he said, ‘Ameesha, you should retire now.’ She asked Why?’ and he said it’s because she has already achieved in two films what most people don’t achieve in their entire career.

Once in a lifetime, a Mughal-e-Azam, a Mother India, a Pakeezah, a Sholay gets made. But you (Ameesha) had it in her second film. So what’s next?’ She didn’t understand it at that time because she was a kid, so new to the film world.

Meanwhile, Ameesha, after basking in major success in Gadar – Ek Prem Katha featured in many other superhit films. Her filmography includes Bhool Bhulaiyaa, Race 2, among others.

In 2019, Ameesha Patel also collaborated with Salman Khan who hosted Bigg Boss 13 as the owner of the house. Her inclusion received a mixed response by the viewers.

Ajay Devgn recalled the time he signed up for his debut film `Phool Aur Kaante`.

Over a media interaction he shared that when he came home he found director Sandesh Kohli sitting with his dad Veeru Devgan, Action Director.

His dad had always wanted him to be an actor, train in action.
He told him that Kohliji was doing a film Phool Aur Kaante and he wanted him (Ajay) to be in it.
His (Ajay) first reaction was, “Are you mad? He is 18, enjoying life.” Ajay flatly declined it. This was in October, 1990. By November, he was shooting practically pushed into it.

Actress Sharvari Wagh is overwhelmed that Maharashtrian folklore is being celebrated at the box office as in just three days Munjya grossed Rs 20.04 crore across India.

The actor says, she is a proud Maharashtrian, so it is a nice feeling to see this unanimous love and appreciation for a film that is rooted in Maharashtrian folklore.

Thrilled by the opening weekend numbers, Sharvari adds, that she has to admit that she is over the moon right now. To have a big success under her belt is, of course, a huge confidence booster.” She further states that to see her social media flooded with love from fans across the country is also a huge validation for her work.

The actor is equally excited with the response to her first big dance number, Taras, in the Aditya Sarpotdar-directed venture. She admits that she was apprehensive on how it would be received by cinegoers, and further adds that Sharvari it is very encouraging to see people enjoying and dancing to the song in the theatres. Growing up, she was the one glued to the big screen watching the big dance numbers play at the end of the movie. To see that people are now enjoying my song at theatres, hits differently.

Global Star Priyanka Chopra feels anguished over the traumatic attack on J&K bus carrying pilgrims to the sacred Vaishnodevi Temple on Sunday 9 June.

Terming it a terror attack, Priyanka voiced her sadness on Instagram Stories. The actress also attached a note alongside the news report.

The note read “Devastated.
This heinous attack on innocent pilgrims is horrific. Why civilians and children?! It’s so hard to comprehend the hatred we’re witnessing around the world.

Apart from Priyanka Chopra Other celebs who were grieved over the inhuman attack are
Kangana Ranaut, Riteish Deshmukh and Anupam Kher. Kangana strongly condemns the cowardly terrorist attack on the pilgrims in Reasi, Jammu & Kashmir. She wrote that they were going for Vaishnodevi Darshan and terrorists opened fire on them merely because they were Hindus. She offered prayers for the departed with a hope for the speedy recovery of the injured. Om shanti.

Riteish Deshmukh added that he was heart broken and devastated with the visuals of the Reasi terror attack. Prayers with the victims and families.

Anupam Kher who hails from Kashmir wrote that he is angry, pained and saddened by the cowardly attack on pilgrims in Reasi. Jammu! May Almighty give the loved ones of victims the strength to bear the pain and loss. Prayers for the speedy recovery of the injured.

A massive cordon and search operation is underway to track down terrorists responsible for the attack on a passenger bus in Jammu and Kashmir’s Reasi district that left nine people dead and 41 injured, officials said on Monday. The National Investigation Agency (NIA), State Investigation Agency (SIA) and Forensic department teams rushed to the spot of the terror attack and initiated a probe.

On Sunday, terrorists opened fire at the 53-seater bus carrying pilgrims when it was en route from Shiv Khori temple to the Mata Vaishno Devi shrine at Katra near Teryath village in the Poni area. The bus plunged into the deep gorge following the gunfire.

Jammu and Kashmir Lt Governor Manoj Sinha visited the injured passengers at GMC and Narayana hospitals on Monday and said that the terrorist attack was part of a nefarious design to spread turmoil in the Jammu region.

Such attempts would be thwarted, he asserted. The Director General of Police (DGP) along with senior officers, including the Army, is scheduled to visit the spot to get first-hand information about the incident.

Amidst Modi 3.0’s swearing-in over and portfolios given to the new ministers, there are two key tasks at the hands of the ruling BJP that is to choose a
Ne w Speaker for Lok Sabha and to name the Chief of the Party.

JP Nadda, BJP’s Health Minister in the first PM Modi government, has been inducted to the cabinet this time. He now holds the portfolios of Health and Family Welfare, as well as Chemicals and Fertilizers.

Now the new BJP president will have to pitch in as Assembly elections are due later this year in Jammu and Kashmir, Haryana, Jharkhand and Maharashtra.

The other task on the BJP’s agenda is to finalise the NDA’s choice for a Lok Sabha Speaker.

It is learnt that N Chandrababu Naidu’s TDP and Nitish Kumar’s JDU, BJP’s key allies whose support is critical for the government’s majority, are eyeing the post.This comes against the backdrop of mutinies over the past couple of years that split parties and toppled governments. In such cases, the anti-betrayal law comes into play, and the Speaker of the House turns out to be a crucial post. Chandra Babu Naidu and Nitish Kumar, both Coalition-era veterans, want the Speaker’s post as a shield against any such tactic.

Sources in the BJP, however, articulate that they are not keen to hand over the Speaker’s post.

Although there is no official word yet, the name of Andhra Pradesh BJP chief D Purandeshwari is doing the rounds for the key position.
Purandeshwari is the daughter of former Chief Minister and legendary actor NT Rama Rao and the sister-in-law of
Naidu. Her husband, Daggubati Venkateshwara Rao, is a former Congress MP and MLA who later joined YSR Congress Party.

She was first elected to Lok Sabha on a Congress ticket and also served as a Union Minister in the Manmohan Singh government. She tendered her resignation from the Congress to protest against the UPA government’s decision to carve the state of Telangana out of Andhra Pradesh. Purandeshwari joined the BJP in 2014 and has risen to become its state chief.

The three-time MP not being accommodated in the Modi 3.0 cabinet has surprised many and set off speculation that she may be the BJP’s choice for the Speaker post.

The reviews for her portrayal of dual roles – Rehaana and Fareedan in Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar, recently revealed the phase none of her films work including solo heroine projects like Akira, Noor, Happy Phirr Bhag Jayegi and Khandaani Shafakhana, among others.

Reportedly, actor Varun Dhawan and his designer wife Natasha Dalal, have rented Hrithik Roshan’s current Juhu house.

According to reports, the couple are expected to move to the house with their baby daughter, born on June 3.

The family of three will be neighbours of actor Akshay Kumar and producer Sajid Nadiadwala, who also reside in the same building, as per the report.

According to source Varun and Natasha it is a sea-facing apartment, currently occupied by Hrithik, who in turn is moving to another apartment in the same location Juhu.

Few days ago, Varun Dhawan shared the news of his little daughter’s arrival with the world. He posted a video on Instagram featuring an animation of his dog, Joey, sitting in a parachute with a message that read, “Welcome lil’ sis.” The text attached to the video read, “Our baby girl is here.” Towards the end of the clip, we can see a message from the new parents – “We are overjoyed with this new blessing in our lives. During this special time, we request the media to give us our privacy. Thank you for your support and understanding. Natasha & Varun.”

In the caption, Varun Dhawan wrote, “Our baby girl is here. Thank u for all the good wishes for the mama and the baby.” No doubt, Varun’s industry colleagues showered love in the comment section. Actors like Shraddha Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor, Mouni Roy, Rakul Preet Singh, Aditi Rao Hydari, Rohit Saraf, Malaika Arora, Pooja Hegde, Vaani Kapoor, Janhvi Kapoor, Ayushmann Khurrana, Kiara Advani, and others dropped congratulatory comments.

In terms of work, Varun Dhawan made a cameo appearance in Aditya Sarpotdar’s film Munjya. It’s a known fact that constitutionally, the Speaker’s post emerges vacant before the new Lok Sabha meets for the first time.

As the final modalities regarding portfolio allocation are being finalised, Andhra Pradesh BJP chief’s name is doing the rounds for the post of Speaker in the 18th Lok Sabha.

In the last two Lok Sabhas, BJP had a majority, and Sumitra Mahajan and Om Birla were the Speakers.

As the numbers of the 18th Lok Sabha election trickled in, the Bhartiya Janata Party understood that they had to rely on two two close allies- TDP and JD(U) to form the government.

Andhra Pradesh BJP President and Rajahmundry MP Daggunati Purandeswari is one of the frontrunners for the post of Speaker in the 18th Lok Sabha.

Sources, reveal that various media outlets speculate that the reason for her exclusion from the swearing-in ceremony was possibly to eneable her to be appointed her the Lok Sabha Speaker.
