Since January 2021, Dunzo has witnessed a growth of 350 per cent in medicine orders. Between March’21 to May’21, Dunzo has facilitated the delivery of over 20,000 orders to hospitals. This, coupled with the delivery of home-cooked meals, oximeters, and other medical aid has led to an exponential growth of 204 per cent in Dunzo’s pick up and drop orders. Delivering millions of orders through its B2B logistics service, Dunzo’s B2B (business-to-business) vertical has also grown 2x working with volunteers, NGOs, and other organizations, to deliver essentials to those affected in the community.

When do you last remember watching a series/movies on an platform and thinking, “Oh that’s a familiar product!” or saw a sale that featured clothing brands and accessories used by a certain character on the show?
This isn’t something very new, of course, with origins being traced back to a 1919 movie.

Associated with the characters and embedded well into the storyline, product placement seems to work well because it strengthens the connection that the viewer has with the brand - thus increasing the recall and awareness, both.

Brand personality is a framework that helps a company or organization shape the way people feel about its product, service, or mission. Customers are more likely to purchase a brand if its personality is similar to their own.

There are five main types of brand personalities with common traits:

Excitement: carefree, spirited, and youthful
Sincerity: kindness, thoughtfulness, and an orientation toward family values
Ruggedness: rough, tough, outdoorsy, and athletic
Competence: successful, accomplished and influential, highlighted by leadership
Sophistication: elegant, prestigious, and sometimes even pretentious

The Manipur forest department Thursday wrote a letter to Nestlé over a “factual error” on the wrapper of one of its chocolate brands.

According to the department, the food and beverage giant has on the wrapper of its chocolate brand, KitKat, wrongly written the location of Keibul Lamjao National Park as Meghalaya. The park is located at Moirang in Manipur.

Whether or not a company’s financials were good for the previous year, 1st April gives every company a chance to indulge in some humor, and take their consumers by surprise.

With the increasing hype around April Fools Day and never-been-higher consumer awareness, these jokes are a tough nut to crack.

While some companies seem to have mastered this and brought it up at just the right time(and harmlessly), some others did not end up gaining much from it, and some even ended up with a backlash.

So, how well did humor work for companies this year - a year that in itself has seemed more of a joke?

Getting Chocked...!

I know you all might have got the hint of what we are speaking about today.

Yes, we are speaking about the Suez Canal blockage issue.

If you all have recently noticed many industry experts have termed this incident as choking of global supply chain.

You all must be wondering how a blockage by a ship in Suez Canal can cause choking….!

Well let’s take a simple example to explain this…!

Do you all remember the time when we used to pay Rs 360 for 1 GB of data??

Yes, those were difficult times.

But years went by and now we are using 30 GB of data at just Rs 300 or so…

Now imagine due to some issue, companies will not be able to provide us with 30GB of data for RS 300 anymore and we are made to go back to our previous plan of Rs 360 for 1 GB data.

Now how would this feel? Doesn’t it choke us?

Actually, something similar is happening with Suez Canal right now.
