जब समाज और मीडिया बलात्कार पीड़ित की धज्जियां उड़ाते है वो बहुत से बलात्कार पीड़ित को मौन कर रहे होते है। लड़कियों के कपड़े, उनके बाहर जाने, उनके रात में बाहर होने, उनके शराब पीने, उनके लड़के दोस्त होने, ये सब सवाल लड़कियों को मौन करते है और जब लड़कियां मौन होती है तो बलात्कार कि संख्या कम नहीं होती बल्कि और बढ़ती है बस लड़कियां उनके साथ हुआ हादसा किसी को बताती नहीं | उससे क्या होता है जो लोग बलात्कार करते है उनको और प्रोत्साहन मिलता है और वो बार बार बलात्कार करने की कोशिश भी कर सकते है या करते भी है। क्युकी उनको लगेगा की कोई पुलिस में रिपोर्ट ही नहीं करेगा ।
