Today on 30th June 2024: First Edition "WALK & PICK" for Dree.
The Central Dree Festival Committee (CDFC) Ziro, in collaboration with the District Administration (DA) Ziro and PH Construction, organized the first WALK & PICK for Dree event. Participants cleaned a stretch of NH-13 from Hotel Zimin Ziro to Dree Ground, Nago Putu, promoting environmental awareness and community involvement as part of the Dree Festival celebrations.

The closing ceremony of the 57th Dree Football Tournament 2024 took place on 29th June,at Padi Yubbe outdoor stadium, with Vivek H.P. (IAS), Deputy Commissioner of Ziro, attending as the chief guest. Puna Hinda, MD of PH Construction, was the guest of honour. The All Hija Sports Association (AHSA) emerged victorious against the Diibo Sports Club (DSC), winning the match with a score of 1-0.
On June 29, 2024, a felicitation program was held at Hotel Blue Pine, Hapoli, to honor the Class XII toppers in science, arts, and commerce from the Diibo Belt (Dutta, Mudang Tage, and Bamin Michi villages). The event was organized by M/s Tadu Talang Rilung Charitable Society, Ziro, in collaboration with the Diibo Welfare Association (DFA), Ziro. The program aimed to celebrate the academic achievements of the students and encourage them to pursue further education and personal growth.

On June 27, the Central Dree Festival Committee (CDFC) Volleyball Championship 2024 final match at Nago Putu Dree Ground concluded with the All Hija Sports Association (AHSA) emerging victorious against the Sojang Lapang Sports Club (SLSC).
Today, on June 23, 2024, the Central Dree Festival Committee (CDFC) organized a volleyball competition at Nago Putu Dree Ground. Today was the first league, and tomorrow will be the second league. The semi-finals and finals will be played on June 27.
Today, on June 23, the Central Dree Festival Committee organized a GK competition for both seniors and juniors, an essay writing competition for juniors and seniors, and also provided updates on the upcoming photography competition.

The Central Dree Festival Committee successfully organized a drawing competition at Nago Putu Dree Ground. There were three categories: painting competition for sub-juniors (age under 10), painting competition for juniors (age under 15), and an open painting competition for all ages.

Today, World Blood Donor Day 2024 was observed at Gyati Takka General Hospital Ziro with a blood donation camp and awareness campaign, organized in collaboration with Christian Revival Church Hapoli and Highland Welfare Society Ziro. The event, featuring DMO Lower Subansiri, Dr. Nani Rika, as the chief guest, honored the top blood donors of 2023-2024 and collected 22 units of blood.
A noble initiative by Central Dree Festival Committee (CDFC) Ziro, preparing our hearts for the upcoming Dree Festival.
Dree being the largest festival of the Apatani Community, let us chip in and contribute few hours of our labor in making a cleaner Ziro.

"Candle Light Procession Demands Justice for Late Millo Ricky"
On May 31, 2024, from 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm, the All Millo Welfare Society, All Millo Youth Welfare Wing, and All Tanii Pan NGOs organized a candlelight procession in Ziro, demanding the early arrest of the murderer of Late Millo Ricky. The accused, Mr. Dehun Umbrey, remains at large. The procession started at DKGHSS, Ziro, and culminated at Hapoli Bazar Traffic Point, highlighting the community's call for justice and swift legal action.
