गत वर्ष इन्डोनेसियामा PMGC (पब्जी वर्ल्डकप) मा दोस्रो भएको टिम नै यसपटक 19th Asian Games मा नेपाललाई प्रतिनिधित्व गर्दै चिन जादैछौँ । यसैले धेरैले "World Cup मा दोस्रो भएको टिमले Asian Games मा Gold Medal त ल्याउला नि ?" भनेर सोधिराख्नु भएको छ तर यसको जवाफ हामीसँग छैन किनभने -

१. यहाँ खेलिने pattern PMGC को भन्दा एकदम धेरै नै फरक हुन्छ । त्यसमाथि chinese version मा खेल्नुपर्ने हुन्छ ।

२. यति हुँदा पनि हामीले नसक्ने भन्ने कुरा थिएन तर हामीसँग यो version मा जम्मा २ हप्ता जतिको मात्रै practice छ, त्यो पनि त्यहाँ खेलाइने Device भन्दा फरक Device मा ।

३. अरू देशको तुलना गर्ने हो भने हाम्रो तयारी १% पनि होइन । अरू देशले खेलाडीहरूले ९ महिना देखि Close Camp मा त्यही Device मा मज्जाको सेवा सुविधा सहित practice गरिरहेका छन् ।

हामीले पनि सरकारी निकायहरूमा Device, Coach र Close Camp को लागि केही गर्नुपर्यो भनेर अनुरोध गर्यौँ । बजेट छैन भन्ने कुरा आए'सी हामीले practice को लागि प्रति device रू ९० हजार जति पर्ने device हामी आफैं किन्छौँ तर नेपालमा नपाइने भएकाले नेपालसम्म ल्याइदिन र भन्सारमा सहजीकरण गरिदिन अनुरोध गर्यौँ । जसलाई पूर्णतः वेवास्ता गरियो । र, केही नलागेपछी आफ्नो हिसाबले आफूसँग भएको resources ले तयारी सुरु गर्यौँ ।

समाचारमा Asian Games को लागि करोडौं बजेट विनियोजन भएको त सुनियो तर esports पहिलो पटक भएर होला, पदकको दाबेदार हुँदाहुँदै पनि सौताको व्यवहार गरियो । धन्न होस् , esports category मा भाग लिन गएका २२ खेलाडी मध्ये ५ जनाको मात्र भए नि Plane टिकट चाहिँ निकायले काटिदियो ।

हुन न देश अनुसारको भेष भन्छन्, देशको आर्थिक अवस्था कमजोर भएको अवस्थामा हामीले पनि Financially केही आश गरेका थिएनौँ तर Device लगायतका कुरामा सहजीकरण भएको भए हामी अहिले full confidence का साथ गइरहेको हुन्थ्यौँ ।

अन्तिममा नेसालाई एकदमै धेरै धन्यवाद । नेसा हुदैन थियो भने हामीले यति मौका पनि पाउदैन थियौँ । राखेपलाई धन्यवाद हामीलाई विश्वास गरेको र esports लाई पनि मौका दिएकोमा ।

अनि, यति गौरव छ कि यो टिम आफ्नै योग्यताले asian games मा आफ्नो देशको झण्डा फहराउन योग्य बन्यो । र, यो गौरवलाई कायम गर्न हामी कुनै कसर बाँकी राख्ने छैनौँ । Medal को लागी हामी सक्दो कोशिस गर्ने छौ ।
