সম্প্রতি সুপ্রিম কোর্টের বিচারপতি দীপঙ্কর দত্ত একটি রায়ে উল্লেখ করেছেন, ‘হিন্দি ভারতের রাষ্ট্রভাষা’। এই রায় সংশোধনের আবেদন জানিয়ে সুপ্রিম কোর্টের দ্বারস্থ হয়েছে বাংলাপক্ষ। সুপ্রিম কোর্টের প্রধান বিচারপতি ডি ওয়াই চন্দ্রচূড়কে চিঠিও দিয়েছেন বাংলাপক্ষের সাধারণ সম্পাদক গর্গ চট্টোপাধ্যায়। বাংলাপক্ষ জানিয়েছে, ভারতের সংবিধানে কোনও রাষ্ট্রভাষার উল্লেখ নেই।
