Very sad to hear sudden demise of CDS General Bipin Rawat and Mrs. Madhulika Rawat in a tragic accident today. I have had the privilege of meeting General Rawat personally in the convocation ceremony at my Alma mater HNB Garhwal University Srinagar Garhwal (Hnbgu Srinagar Garhwal Uttarakhand) few days back. His enormous personality, profound intellect and humane connect has mesmerised me to the core. I am still in disbelief that this gentleman in olive greens is not there with us anymore. A great loss for our nation. May their soul rest in peace.

MOHANA GELYA, a musical performance of Pahari Prem song, sung by Uttarakhand's famous folk singer "Hema Negi Karsi" under the banner of "HNK" production, released today. The song is beautifully depicted in the lush green and virgin landscapes of Rishikesh, Uttarakhand, providing a mystic view from a cliff and a beautiful waterfall.

Shri Tirath Singh Rawat is proud alumni & former President of Hemvati Nandan Bahuguna Garhwal University Srinagar. He has done commendable work for network connectivity and Road construction in Uttarakhand.

Dr.Pritam Bhartwan, a folk singer who is also famous as Jaagar Samraat. He was conferred the Padma Shri honour in 2019 for his contribution to the field of traditional folk art. Since 2011, he has been a guest lecturer at the university of Illinois. Jaagar is a sacred vocal tradition performed to please the Goddess in the form of humans and ancestors.

Prof. S. P Singh, who is former Vice Chancellor, Garhwal University Srinagar and a renowned Scientist at INSA. A great leader who has done commendable job for society and its development.
