The Young Lawyers' Association(YLA) of the High Court of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh, Jammu held a strong protest against the Traffic Police, Jammu today at High Court Road in Jammu for arbitrary and unjustified issuance of Traffic Challans to the general public, even when their vehicles have not been on the road for many days. There have been numerous complaints from the general public as well as from the members of Young Lawyers' Association especially the female lawyers, regarding this issue. The Young Lawyers' Association had been trying to approach the Higher Officials at the helm of the affairs in the Traffic Police Department multiple times and even apprised higher officials about the issue and sought their intervention in the matter, but they have paid no attention to their requests. As a result, the Young Lawyers' Association was constrained to take a decision to register their protest against the traffic police today. The Young Lawyers' Association has warned the Administration to rectify the grievances of the public forthwith otherwise the Young Lawyers' Association shall be constrained to take appropriate action and strengthen their protests.

Jammu March 9 / Senior Hinduist BJP leader Shri Raju Chandel, while talking to Jamua journalists today, said that the employees working in public units across the country have been protesting for a long time demanding the implementation of the Employment Pension Scheme for a long time. Today, all these 70 lakh employees are expected from the Modi government that they will get the benefit of this pension scheme, if the Modi government will with the will, these 70 lakh employees are working in public units.

Jammu, Feb 6: The residences of Bahu Fort express gratitude of Delimitation Commision constituted for realignment of Jammu and Kashmir's assembly segments for including Bahu segment in arrangment.
A joint press conference were held at Saryara Sabha Bahu Fort, Rajeev Charak, president Bahu Fort Development Committee alongwith Bahadur Lal president of Sabha, Smt Karun chhetri, President Gorkha Sabha, Th. Nasib Singh Farmer Present Dogra Sabha, Manohar Lal Gen Secy Saryara Sabha, Joginder Paul, President Mahasha Sabha. Vivek Patiyal, Surinder Patiyal, Ramesh Dalotra, Manohar Lal Dalotra, Darshan Kumar and other prominent personalities.
Speaking on the occassion Charak termed the draft report as historical and appreciate the working of delimitation commision, which begins its work in March 2020. Charak siad despite COVID pendamic the Commission work overtime and come up with historical draft.
On including Bahu Assembly segment after rearrange Gandhinagar constituency, Charak siad it was historical blunder that Bahu Fort was ignored. He said Bahu remain the oldest seat of Dogra rule. The Wazir comission also recommend district status of Bahu but it was ignored by the successive governments. However, after more than seventy year's the Bahu got recognition.
Charak further siad that the assembly segment is tribute to Raja Bahu Lochan, who built historical Bawe Wali Temple and give unique identity to Bahu Fort area.
Pertinently, Delimitation Commision done realignment of all assembly constituency and Deleted nomenclature of Gandhi Nagar constituency of Jammu district. Jammu district got Bahu, Jammu South, Jammu North, Nagrota -Balwal, Khour, Akhnoor, Bishnah, R S Pura, Jammu West, Jammu East segments.
The Bahu Fort residents also welcome nomenclature of Mata Vaishno Devi Assembly segment
