“As much as I loved client servicing, I always felt my heart belonged in design and secretly spent my free time in the creative department,” states Anne. It embodies Gedeon’s holistic approach to creative expression, from designing and manufacturing bespoke furniture for homes and businesses to offering comprehensive interior design and art consultancy services. Beyond her professional pursuits, Anne Gedeon is an artist in her own right, creating commissioned works that range from intimate paintings to large-scale commercial installations.

“I learnt that I need obsession to give my ‘idea or concept’ the mind space it deserves so it unfolds fairly into its final stages of creation. I discovered that the formula for achieving your goals is a rotation of obsession and balance,” states Gedeon.

Discover Serene Shades: a tranquil oasis nestled amidst the vibrant chaos of Rajkot, Gujarat. This 4BHK apartment, curated for a young couple, embodies the essence of minimalism and European elegance, offering a serene escape from the city's hustle and bustle.

As you step into this sanctuary, European architectural influences greet you at the entrance, setting the tone for what lies ahead. Soft white walls and laminate ceilings, adorned with a calming palette from Asian Paints, provide a canvas for furniture and textures to harmonize effortlessly. The intentional restraint in colour fosters a seamless flow throughout, ensuring a space that soothes the senses.

Each bedroom serves as a personal retreat, embracing minimalist principles while infusing subtle pops of colour for individuality. Areca palms and golden lampshades lend warmth, while vintage touches add character, particularly in the master bedroom.

In the heart of the living area, plush suede couches from D'Décor beckon relaxation, complemented by accents that exude sophistication. Strategically placed lights from Wipro and Ami create an inviting ambience for both social gatherings and quiet moments of reflection.

Functionality meets aesthetics in the dining area, where a low cabinet serves as storage and a sofa backdrop, maintaining an open feel. Fluted walls and a marble tabletop add vibrancy while staying true to the theme of tranquillity.

Despite the challenge of working solely with neutral beige shades, the designers embraced creativity, utilizing textures and subtle variations to add depth and interest.

MuseLAB isn't just a design studio; it's a fusion of inspiration ('muse') and innovation ('LAB'). Clients aren't just clients; they're partners in the creative process, where collaboration reigns supreme. From humble beginnings in a conference room to shaping the skyline with their designs, their story is one of perseverance and passion. With more than a decade of establishing the firm, they focused solely on research and exploration.

“Design, at the end of the day, is nothing but an exercise in solving problems creatively, sans scale. And it is this philosophy, combined with our love for travel, food and fashion that formed the genesis of a coalition, and an idea that we could collaborate in some capacity on a creative platform,” states the designer.

Yuliia Dovzhenko, the visionary founder behind .uae project. From its debut in Kyiv to becoming a haven for artistic exploration in bustling Dubai, Yuliia's dedication has created an enchanting space for both adults and children alike.

Originally a dentist from Ukraine, Yuliia's life took a remarkable turn when she ventured into event planning after moving to Dubai in 2014. Despite the challenges of the pandemic, her determination led her to craft a project aimed at infusing joy and unlocking creativity.
