Does RV packing and taking things back and forth from the house stress you out? If yes, then you are not alone. We are not full-timers so this is RV life for us currently. So we packed it up again and headed to North Carolina for a week to camp with friends of ours. There is so much to do in Bryson City to make your head spin. But we mostly kept to the Smoky Mountain National Park down the road for tubing and mountain biking. Along with other exploring of course.

Have you heard about the RV parks popping up at Loves Truck Stops nationwide? Does the thought of camping at a truck stop make you cringe? If you haven't then you need to check it out! They are called Loves RV Stop and we decided to try one in Cordele, Georgia and it didn't disappoint. The days of camping in the back next to all the semi trucks are over. They all vary in size and amenities, but this particular one felt like a full-blown RV park. Whether camping for one night or several, this is a spot to consider.

Truck Stop camping will never be the same.

Even regulars make rookie RV mistakes

We took our family on the trip of a lifetime to the wild west and and it all comes down to this. Its hard to believe we did an RV trip to Montana from Florida and back again in 2.5 months. Through all the ups and downs we made it. It was an adventure we will NEVER forget! Join us as we share our last week in north Georgia where Ginny's parents meet up to camp with us. Learn how to replace and repair your RV scissor jack stabilizer. I will show you an easy and more advanced way to get the job done. It doesn't get any simpler than this. Stabilizers are great when they work. If not then your RV will constantly be shaky.

This was the sunset at Fort DeSoto park over the weekend. Amazing right? It was our first time staying at the island RV park, and we can't wait to go back. It's an island on the west coast of Florida near the mouth of Tampa Bay. Great views and quiet surroundings. It's a must-see, but even better if you have an RV. Have you camped here before? What is your favorite campground?

There are so many out there. Do you go for the amenities? The scenery? The peacefulness? Do you have kids or not?

We are not full-time travelers but one of our favorites was in Ouray, Colorado. If you don't know about Ouray, then you need to know about Ouray. It's a beautiful small mountain town surrounded by the huge Colorado rockies and this RV park is located right in town.

Next to our sight was a small river and mountains all around. Very clean and well kept. So this one checks the scenery and peacefulness boxes. Let us know your picks in the comments.

When you get a chance to spend a little time with your pr***en, you TAKE IT! Then; you document 📸☺️

Sometimes in the midst of daily chaos and multiple kiddos, it can be easy to let your older kids do their own thing, but when they ask you to do something specific with them, I am learning that taking a little time for JUST them can really pay off💗

Hard to see the news coming out of Yellowstone. We were there September last year, drove along that river and the beauty is unlike any other. Can’t imagine the whole park being closed with how much land it covers. Hoping the rain subsides and work can begin to restore the roadways.

“From the rising of the sun, to the going down of the same”

Being from Florida and spending much of my life there, I thought our sunsets were unparalleled, and honestly, they are (I’m not biased or anything🙃)
However, there is something truly breathtaking about being “on top of the world” and watching that sun sink behind jagged peaks; casting one final glow on the landscape below that I pray I’ll never forget.

Rocky Mountain National Park, you have a small piece of my heart😌

Pictured below (2 years ago) our FIRST trip to Rocky Mountain National Park, courtesy of a work trip that we chose to extend… when our eyes were really opened up to the beauty of Colorado and RMNP was live at first sight! 😍

Two years later with the whole crew, we trekked up the exact same alpine ridge trail- and their breaths were also taken away (literally & figuratively 😂)

These intentionally shared experiences have been so special 😊🙌🏻

Welcome to Abiding Tribe! Hey there, we're Eric & Ginny and we're SO glad you're here!! July 2020 was a pivoting point for us (as it was for many) and it occurred to us that even if we were able to spend all 18 years with our children (and there's no guarantee), it just wouldn't be enough. Since time is so fleeting, we decided to do a "test run" on this whole and see if it might be a good fit for our family.

So, currently, "We travel, not to escape life, but for life not to escape us"

We hope that you will enjoy our videos and silly family antics and be inspired to also consider the brevity of life and be encouraged to make it count in your own way.
