When our campaigns are giving us the right performance is when we consider obtaining more conversions with scaling strategies.

But keep in mind that scaling your campaigns without increasing the cost per result is one of the great challenges you must face.

And how can I scale my campaign?

There are two strategies:

➡️Vertical scaling.

It consists of increasing the budget, the drawback is that an increase in investment is usually accompanied by an increase in frequency and a decrease in CTR, therefore, an increase in cost per result.

That is, if you only dedicate yourself to increasing the budget, the number of people you impact is equal.

If you want to do this type of scaling, it is best to do it little by little.

➡️Horizontal scaling.

This strategy, however, consists of increasing the audience reach of your campaigns.

One strategy you can carry out is to analyse those segments that work best for you.

The Problem
Cathy had some success with an organic Facebook community but could not get Google ads to work for her on her own or with the help of other agencies. So she reached out to us to discuss how we could increase her revenue using Google ads.
The Solution
We set up call campaigns for people looking for her services
Using the rapid fire testing methodology we tested multiple audiences within French speaking countries to determine the best audiences to scale.

How to research your competitor's ads?👀

To define our advertising strategy we must do several analyses. One of the most important is to analyze what our competition is doing.

If you want to know how to investigate it, here are some tricks you can apply:

➡️Follow him closely

Research all the strategies you are carrying out: access their website, interact with their social networks even subscribe to their newsletter. So you can analyze its funnel from start to finish.

➡️Save the ads you like

From facebook.com/ads/activity you will have access to all the ads you have clicked, you can also save it by clicking on the 3 dots at the top right. You can always see it even if they are already deactivated.

➡️Find out why you see an ad

With the turbo ad finder chrome extension you will have the option to see only ads in your feed, also if you give the 3 dots at the top right you can access the option, "why do I see this ad". From there we can see some segmentation options that they have used.

The Facebook pixel is a javascript code that allows you to collect data from the actions we carry out with our Facebook and Instagram Ads campaigns.

Let's discuss some common mistakes that are made when starting to advertise on Facebook ads:

➡️ Create promotions and not advertising campaigns. Hitting the promote button is much easier than creating an ad campaign from Ads Manager. But by promoting a publication we are greatly limiting our advertising strategy.

➡️ Do not analyze the user's level of awareness about their problem/need and how familiar they are with your brand. Sending the right message to the right person is the key to success.

➡️I Don't have the Facebook pixel or API installed.

➡️Creation of advertising account in different currency and time zone.

➡️Low quality and attractiveness of creatives.

For many advertisers, the click-through rate (CTR) is a key metric to measure the performance and the effectiveness of your Facebook Ads.

If your CTR is low, then your ad will get no traction by the Facebook algorithm. And if your CTR is high, then your ads may go viral.
But the hard part is - How do you increase your CTR?

Here is a list of best practices that you can immediately implement to increase your creatives' CTR:

1. 𝙐𝙨𝙚𝙧-𝙂𝙚𝙣𝙚𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙚𝙙 𝘾𝙤𝙣𝙩𝙚𝙣𝙩

User-Generated Content is by far the most popular type of video on the internet today. Additionally, thanks to TikTok, the world has embraced this style because it appears to be more "human" and less "scripted." ​

Additionally, UGCs do not appear to be advertisements and are frequently confused with organic posts, which encourages people to engage with and trust your content.

2. 𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙪𝙨𝙚 𝙤𝙛 𝙨𝙪𝙗𝙩𝙞𝙩𝙡𝙚𝙨

"Because videos on Facebook autoplay with the sound turned off, it's critical that your video ads entice viewers even when they're muted." - Fb ​

This is a fairly self-explanatory statement. Subtitles are required to engage with your content even when the audio is turned off. ​

3. 𝙁𝙤𝙘𝙪𝙨 𝙤𝙣 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙛𝙞𝙧𝙨𝙩 𝙩𝙬𝙤 𝙨𝙚𝙘𝙤𝙣𝙙𝙨

The first two seconds of your video will determine its success. On mobile, people consume content 41% faster than on a desktop. ​

4. 𝙐𝙨𝙚 𝙖 𝙢𝙤𝙗𝙞𝙡𝙚-𝙛𝙞𝙧𝙨𝙩 𝙖𝙥𝙥𝙧𝙤𝙖𝙘𝙝

Because 95% of people use social media on their phones, you need to ensure that your ads are mobile-friendly. Make your videos as brief as possible and as long as necessary. ​

5. 𝙎𝙩𝙖𝙘𝙠 𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙋𝙤𝙨𝙩 𝙄𝘿

By stacking your post ID, you can cross-promote your social ads across multiple assets while keeping the same level of engagement on the post.
That is, if you have a post with 100 likes and 10 comments, you can use that post ID in another campaign or adset and stack the engagement on the post.

70% of your Facebook and TikTok Ads results will be determined by your content. That is even more true now that iOS 14/15 has disabled tracking possibilities. If your return on investment is low and you are barely breaking even, you should consider testing new creatives and copies. ​

There is no secret formula for success on Facebook. ​
