Today is the day of celebration for Indians and all women of India. Because, the 2nd woman president in front of us, Draupadi Murmu Ji. We witnessed history being created! Draupadi Murmu Ji won the presidential election in 2022 and became the second woman president of India!

Her journey starts from being a teacher to a president, the journey was definitely hard. She was born in a family in Odisha's most poverty-stricken village, Uparbeda. Nevertheless, beating all those odds she went on and graduated from Ramadevi Women’s College in Bhubaneswar.

Draupadi Murmu Ji witnessed her share of adversity and misfortunes too. In a minor span of six years, she lost her two sons, her mother, her brother, and her husband to disheartening tragedies. However, she gathered herself and continued chasing her dreams and became 2nd president of India.

Murmu Ji, Odisha tribal chieftain has become the first-ever Odisha-born President of India. She has also held a number of honorable positions in the past.

She represented Rairangpur in Mayurbhanj as an MLA twice was sworn in as Jharkhand's first-ever female governor, and held the position of vice president of the BJP's Scheduled Tribes Morcha and councilor for the Rairangpur Nagar Panchayat. She also served as a minister in Odisha's cabinet.

Despite adverse conditions, strenuous challenges, and daunting tragedies, she rose up and attained the highest authority post in the Country. She is the epitome of women's power.
