भगवान शिव के इस मंदिर में होती है पूरी परिक्रमा, पूजा के बाद ‘गायब’ हो जाता है चढ़ाया हुआ जल

शिवालय में शिवलिंग के साथ जलेरी होना आम बात है, लेकिन भोलेनाथ का एक मंदिर ऐसा भी है जहां जलेरी नहीं है। जाखणीधार क्षेत्र के प्राचीन देवलसारी महादेव मंदिर में कुदरत का ऐसा अनोखा चमत्कार देखने को मिलता है। जलेरी नहीं होने से इस मंदिर की आधी नहीं, बल्कि पूरी परिक्रमा की जाती है।
यहां महाशिवरात्रि और सावन में लगने वाले मेले में श्रद्धालुओं का सैलाब उमड़ पड़ता है। इस शिवालय की अनूठी परंपराएं और कई रहस्य श्रद्धालुओं को हैरत में डाल देते हैं। सभी शिव मंदिरों में शिवलिंग के साथ जलेरी होती ही है, लेकिन प्राचीन देवलसारी मंदिर में शिवलिंग के साथ जलेरी न होना लोगों को हैरत में डालता है।
मान्यता है कि यहां स्वंयभू शिवलिंग स्थापित है। मंदिर के शिवलिंग पर चढ़ाए जाने वाले हजारों लीटर जल की निकासी कहां होती है, इस रहस्य से आज तक पर्दा नहीं उठा है। दुनियाभर में तमाम शिव मंदिरों में पूजा-अर्चना और जलाभिषेक के बाद शिवलिंग की आधी परिक्रमा करने का विधान है। यानी जलेरी को लांघा नहीं जाता है।
जलेरी तक पहुंचकर परिक्रमा को पूर्ण मान लिया जाता है, लेकिन देवलसारी महादेव में जलेरी नहीं होने के कारण मंदिर की पूरी परिक्रमा की जाती है। देवलसारी मंदिर में जलाभिषेक की परंपरा भी कुछ अलग ही है। प्राचीन समय से चली आ रही परंपराओं के अनुसार आज भी मंदिर का पुजारी ही भक्तों के लाए हुए जल को खुद शिवलिंग पर अर्पित करता है।
मंदिर के तीसरी पीढ़ी के पुजारी रामलाल भट्ट और गगन भट्ट पूजा-पाठ और व्यवस्थाओं का जिम्मा संभाले हुए हैं। वह कहते हैं कि शिवलिंग पर चढ़ने वाले जल के अदृश्य होने का राज उनके लिए भी रहस्य बना हुआ है।
