Everyone I know is anxious about something or the other especially since the pandemic started. CBD works wonders to relieve Anxiety. It's huge in the BioHacking world. It makes you feel relaxed and also helps you to improve your sleep quality. It is derived from the cannabis plant which is important to know (not judge) and I have found it very safe to use. Try Omega 3 before you start taking antidepressants. This is based on a study (link in bio) I read on Pubmed wherein the participants who supplemented with a 1000mgs of EPA daily which is in Omega 3 found success in terms of reduction of their depression or depression related symptoms. These antidepressants are known as SSRIs (selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors), they undoubtedly work but have lots of side-effects and are addictive so difficult to get off once you start them. Interestingly the study also found that omega 3 supplementation along with SSRI medication proved to be even better in terms of the results to relieve depression in the patients. So even if you are already on medication for your depression I don't see the harm in also supplementing with a good quality omega 3. I'm not a Dr so you must do your own homework. I'm not prescribing anything to you...

Do you get Hungry while watching TV? Don't feel bad if you do. It's not your fault. Food manufacturers and Advertisers have been manipulating us for years by the kind of and timing of ads that were played on TV. They use food and brain science to create a 'lethal' cocktail of messages, colours and images that traick our brain. These ads are unethical because they specifically target children who are easy to manipulate and trigger hunger hormones in them. What is worse is that majority (if not all) these ads are for junk/unhealthy foods. Drink water if you feel hungry while watching tv. Even better you can drink sparkling water (I'm not a fan of soda but you can if you want, because it's better than eating unnecessarily) and add lemon and stevia to it to enhance the taste...

We will never be able to forget or forgive the havoc that Covid has caused especially in India BUT we need to Change the conversation from COVID. I know it's not easy and I don't mean to be insensitive because I know many have lost loved ones and what I'm recommending isn't easy but we need to change the conversation especially when it doesn't impact us directly (again sorry if this sounds insensitive). This will help reduce stress and anxiety which is a pandemic on its own. If nothing else at least reduce the amount you speak about Covid...
