Sat Sharma, Dr. Pardeep inaugurate Ira Hair Studio at Rehari
Appreciating the Jammu youth for their commitment to entrepreneurship and becoming self-reliant, Sat Sharma said that under the visionary leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Jammu is transforming into a start-up capital.
Former president J&K BJP, Sat Sharma (CA) accompanied by J&K BJP media secretary, Dr. Pardeep Mahotra, Owner Vinay Kotwal, senior leader Bawa Sharma, BJP Media team member Sanjay Bakshi, BJP Minority Morcha Sartaj Singh, Kushant and others inaugurated an Ira Hair Studio at Rehari.
Proprietor of Ira Hair Studio Vinay Kotwal along with Krishan Manhas, Sudesh kotwal, Kartar Singh, Mahesh kotwal, Sagar Chandwal, Nayan kotwal and other family members were also present on the occasion.
Sat Sharma appreciated the efforts of the proprietor/owner for taking such an initiative and further providing employment to five people as well, which will benefit and provide livelihood to the same number of families. He said that PM Narendra Modi has focussed on the Atmanirbhar Bharat (self-reliant India) to make our nation stronger and the youth of Jammu and Kashmir is showing its potential. He said that more of the youth must come forward to set up their ventures and wished all good luck to the owners.
Dr. Pardeep Mahotra, highlighting the need of this clinic, stressed that baldness can be due to aging, heredity, and changes in the hormone and other reasons, which requires aesthetic makeover. He congratulated the owners for providing state of the art services well with in their reach.
Bawa Sharma said that there are plenty of opportunities in entrepreneurship for the youth especially in still underexplored business sectors in Jammu & Kashmir and the youth must come forward to grab the opportunity.

During checking near railway station Jammu one scooty driver dropped a pillion at some distance about 50-60 metres behind Naka point and fled away. The pillion started moving fast towards near by-lane and was carrying a blue/black bag on his back. On this suspicious movement police party chased him and he was overpowered at some distance. On preliminary questioning he disclosed his identity as Sheikh Sunain Yousuf @Raja @Sultan S/O Md. Yousuf Sheikh R/O Gadapora, Shopian.
During search one Star Pistol loaded with seven cartridges was recovered. He was put under sustained questioning on the spot by officers/officials of SOG Jammu. He disclosed that he is an active terrorist of TRF and he had come to Jammu for a specific task, which was not yet conveyed to him by his handlers. He had come to Jammu on directions of handler Ahmed khalid @ Hamza@Haqparast, POJK an active handler or terrorist of TRF outfit. He was also in touch with valley based handlers and with the handlers sitting across, through telegram and signal app. The questioning of the arrested terrorist is going on. A hunt has been launched to nab two of his associates who provided support to him for reconnaissance. It is also believed that links of Jammu based handlers/OGWs will also come fore.

U/S 20,23,38,39 UAP Act 7/25Arms Act stands registered in Police Station Bahu Fort.

Brief Background of the Event
In December 1971, the Indian Armed Forces secured a decisive and historic Victory over Pakistan Army, which led to creation of a Nation - Bangladesh and also resulted in the largest Military Surrender after the World War β II. From 16 December 2020, the Nation started the celebrations of the 50 Years of Indo-Pak War, also called βSwarnim Vijay Varshβ. Various commemorative events were planned across the Nation.
Inaugural event was held at the National War Memorial (NWM) in New Delhi on 16 Dec 2020 which was attended by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. On his arrival, the Prime Minister was received by Raksha Mantri Shri Rajnath Singh at the venue.
The Prime Minister, Chief of Defence Staff & Tri-Service Chiefs laid wreath and paid homage to the fallen soldiers. Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi lit up the βSwarnim Vijay Mashaalβ from the eternal flame of NWM on the occasion. Four Victory Mashaals (flames) lit from the Eternal Flame of NWM were then carried to various parts of the country including to villages of Param Vir Chakra and MahaVir Chakra Awardees of 1971 War. Soil from the villages of these Awardees and from areas where major battles were fought in 1971 are being brought to the NWM.

#SwarnimVijayMashaal arrived at Udhampur on 13 Jun 2021 from Nagrota & was received with full ceremonial honours. Swarnim Vijay Mashaal shall be leaving Udhampur on 14 Jun 2021. The flame shall be further handed over to Counter Insurgency Force (Delta) on the same day itself.
A wreath laying ceremony will be held at βDhruva Shaheed Smarakβ on 14 June 2021 at 8 AM to pay homage to the Swarnim Vijay Mashaal. DGP J&K inspects COVID Care facility for police at Jammu
Says same kind of facility would be made operational in Srinagar; Stresses for implementing COVID protocol strictly
Jammu, May 09: Director General of Police, J&K Shri Dilbag Singh inspected the COVID care facility for policemen at Kisan Ghar Narwal Mandi here today. The facility has been created to meet any exigency in view of second wave of COVID-19.
Accompanied by ADGP Jammu, Shri Mukesh Singh, SSP Jammu, Shri Chandan Kohli, AIG (Tech)PHQ, Shri Rahul Malik, AIG P&T Sh Rajender Gupta and other officers the DGP visited all the rooms of the centre and took stock of the facilities available. As many as 22 rooms have been reserved for the care of policemen with mild and moderate symptoms. The facility would be extended as and when required.
The DGP while interacting with the officers at the facility appreciated the efforts of ADGP Jammu , AIG (Tech) PHQ, Medical Superintendent of Police hospital Jammu, officers of Jammu district police for creating this facility in very quick time.
The DGP said that basic treatment facility for police personnel has been created here in the light of JK Police personnel getting exposed to the virus working day in and day out to restrict the spread of the second wave of COVID-19. He said same kind of facility would be made operational in Srinagar.
The DGP also stressed for ensuring implementation of COVID protocol issued by the government from time to the time very strictly. He directed the officers to provide all help and assistance to civil administration in its efforts to fight the virus.
The DGP said that Jammu and Kashmir police is playing it's role to support the government in fighting the virus with all its resources.
The DGP was informed that facilities like oxygen concentrators, oxygen cylinders, ambulance and basic treatment is available at the centre. Medical staff will remain deployed at the centre round the clock

MARKUL COB of 28RR Bn received a distress call from Farooq Khasana, R/O Dardpura lolab and sprang into action.Due to heavy snowfall all roads were in non trafficable condition and new born and mother trapped in snow blizzard. Jawans of 28RR carried mother and newborn for almost 6km in knee deep snow and safely rescued them to their house in remotest area of Lolab despite heavy snow blizzard.
The unit once again reached out to the needy of AOR thus establishing their faith in army. This act of kindness well appreciated by Civil population and health authorities.
