The Alliance and Subhasha present an exciting literary contest: Word of the Day - Microfiction Writing Competition. Calling all storytellers at NSUT - whether you love writing or just want to give it a try, this is your space to express yourself.
A word prompt in both Hindi and English will be shared with all the participants, which will be their cue to write a microfiction of around 100 words. Participants should turn in their entries by 11:59 PM on the same day through the provided Google Form along with student details, word of the day, and their story. Winning entries will be published in the second edition of our Cultural Magazine. Participants are required to join the WhatsApp group (link available in the brochure on the NSUT website). Daily word prompts and the submission link will be shared there.
We encourage everyone to participate, tap into their creativity, and craft stories that leave a lasting impression.

The Alliance is delighted to announce that Sagar Singh and Vidhi Chaudhary, third-year students from the Architecture and Planning Department, have won the prestigious Bharatiya Paramparik Awas Uthan Award 2024 in the Cold Climate Zone category for their exceptional project on the Kumaon style of architecture at the Vernacular Architecture Competition of India.

This renowned design competition was organized by the Central Building Research Institute (CBRI), Uttarakhand, Roorkee, and their achievement was made possible under the expert mentorship of Dr. Mahfuzuar Rahman Barbhuiya.

The Alliance is delighted to announce that Team Daedalus Racing (TDR) participated in BAJA SAEINDIA, held at NATRAX Indore and organized by the Society of Automotive Engineers India. In the mBAJA 2025 event, an All-Terrain Vehicle (ATV) racing competition featuring over 50 teams from across the country, TDR secured 1st place among all participants from the North Indian region. Additionally, the team achieved an impressive All-India Rank of 19.
