आज अखिल भारतीय विद्यार्थी परिषद जम्मू ग्रामीण जिला नगर मढ और मिश्रीवाला इकाई ने बंगाल में महिलाओं के साथ हो रहे यौन शोषण, के खिलाफ कॉलेज प्रेसिडेंट मढ सजना जी ,तहसील संयोजक धीरज जमवाल और नगर मंत्री ईशान जी ने बताया कि कुछ वर्षों से पश्चिम बंगाल के उत्तर चौबीस परगना जिले के संदेशखाली क्षेत्र की महिलाओं के साथ यौन शोषण, उनकी सामूहिक अस्मिता का हनन एवं उनके परिवारों पर सुनियोजित अत्याचार राज्य सरकार द्वारा संरक्षित अपराधियों द्वारा किया जा रहा है। अभाविप मानवता को शर्मसार करने वाली संदेशखाली घटना से आहत है और इसकी कठोरतम भर्त्सना करती है। विगत 10 फरवरी 2024 को पश्चिम बंगाल के माननीय राज्यपाल श्री आनंद बोस के संदेशखाली दौरे के कारण इस वीभत्स शोषण की सच्चाई वृहद जनमानस के समक्ष आई। पश्चिम बंगाल में सत्तारूढ़ पार्टी के नेताओं द्वारा हिन्दू घरों से जबरन नाबालिग कन्याओं व महिलाओं को चिन्हित कर उनका भयपूर्वक अपहरण कर राज्य में सत्तारूढ़ पार्टी के कार्यालय में लाकर अत्याचार, दुराचार करने के कई जघन्य मामले सामने आये हैं। पीड़िताओं में अधिकांश महिलाएं अत्यंत पिछड़े एवं अनुसूचित वर्ग की हैं और अपने ऊपर हो रहे अत्याचार की अति से तंग आकर कई परिवार संदेशखाली से पलायन करने को मजबूर हैं। पश्चिम बंगाल राज्य की महिला मुख्यमंत्री के संरक्षण से वर्षों के शारीरिक एवं मानसिक शोषण से तंग आकर संदेशखाली की हज़ारों महिलाएं आज राज्य सरकार के खिलाफ आंदोलनरत हैं। चूंकि मुख्यमंत्री के संरक्षण में राज्य में सत्तारूढ़ पार्टी के नेताओं द्वारा संदेशखाली की महिलाओं का शोषण हो रहा है और राज्य की पुलिस उचित कानूनी कार्रवाई करने में विफल रही है. इसलिए अभाविप की यह माँग है कि इन महिलाओं को न्याय दिलाने में आपके द्वारा हस्तक्षेप किया जाए। न्याय की इस मुहिम में माननीय राज्यपाल, राष्ट्रीय महिला आयोग, राष्ट्रीय मानवाधिकार आयोग राष्ट्रीय अनुसूचित जनजाति आयोग के हस्तक्षेप का स्वागत करते हुए आज अखिल भारतीय विद्यार्थी परिषद् कार्यकर्ता द्वारा विरोध प्रदर्शन कर बंगाल सरकारी को यह चेतावनी दी गई। जल्दी से जल्दी बंगाल सरकार पर कार्यवाही की जाए जिससे वहां की महिलाओं को इंसाफ मिले।

Poonch Encounter: Four Soliders killed, three injured

Poonch, Dec 21 : Four soldiers were killed while as three were injured in an ongoing encounter in Surankote Poonch, top officials said.

The officials informed news agency Kashmir Scroll that four soldiers were killed while three more soldiers were undergoing treatment at a local hospital.

He said that the whole area is under cordon and search operation is going on.

Soldiers who lost their lives were identified as Birendra Singh, Karan Kumar, Chandan Kumar and Gautam Kumar while injured were identified as Sundeep Kumar, Shyam Sundar Das and Todmal Dnyaneshwar Bhaskarrav

Earlier, an army official said that an army party came under attack during an anti-terror operation in Surankote area at DKG (Dera Ki Gali) on Thursday.

"An encounter is underway at the site to neutralize the terrorists", the officials added. (KS)

ABVP Jammu Mahanagar Pays Tribute to Rani Lakshmi Bai on her 195th Birth Anniversary

ABVP Jammu Mahanagar, through its units at SPMR Commerce College and GGM Science College, joined hands to pay homage to the legendary Rani Lakshmi Bai on her 195th Birth Anniversary. The solemn commemorations took place in the presence of esteemed ABVP leaders, including Joint Secretaries Manik Goswami and Harish Sharma, along with Social Media Incharge Ganesh Bhardwaj, Rajan Singh, Varun Manhas,Raman khajuria,Lucky Sharma, Rupal Shalatia,Nishant Saini etc.

Army colonel, major, deputy superintendent martyred in gunfight with terrorists

Three security force officers including an Army Colonel got martyred in a gunfight with terrorists in Kokernag area of Kashmir's Anantnag district, officials said here on Wednesday.

Colonel Manpreet Singh, Major Ashish, deputy superintendent of Jammu and Kashmir Police Humayun Bhat were critically injured in the gunfight and died later, they said.

Bhat died due to heavy blood loss, they added.

The operation against the terrorists began on Tuesday evening in Gadole area but was called off during the night. This morning, the hunt for the terrorists resumed after information started trickling that they were spotted at a hideout, the officials said.

Colonel Singh, leading his team from the front, attacked the terrorists. However, the terrorists fired upon him and he was critically injured.
