लॉकडाउन के बीच पहली बार गृह जनपद गोरखपुर पहुंचे मुख्यमंत्री योगी आदित्यनाथ ने जिले में स्वास्थ्य सुविधाओं के साथ ही विकास परियोजनाओं की भी नब्ज टटोली। पहले स्वास्थ्य सेवाओं की जानकारी लेते हुए कहा कि वेंटिलेटर और ऑक्सीजन की व्यवस्था बढ़ाई जाए।

उन्होंने कहा कि कोरोना से संक्रमित मरीज को इलाज मिलने में थोड़ी भी देर नहीं होनी चाहिए। क्वारंटीन सेंटरों में गुणवत्तायुक्त अच्छा भोजन उपलब्ध कराया जाए। उन्होंने आश्वस्त किया कि जल्द ही पर्याप्त संख्या में सी-बी नेट मशीनों के साथ ही जांच की व्यवस्था भी बढ़ाई जाएगी।मुख्यमंत्री ने बीआरडी मेडिकल कॉलेज के प्राचार्य और सीएमओ से कहा कि वेंटिलेटर और ऑक्सीजन की व्यवस्था बढ़ाई जाए। बीमार-बुजुर्ग और बच्चों पर विशेष नजर रखी जाए। प्राइवेट अस्पतालों में भी इमरजेंसी वाले ऑपरेशनों को बढ़ावा दिया जाए, साथ ही वहां के डॉक्टर और नर्स समेत सभी पैरामेडिकल स्टाफ को भी सुरक्षा के प्रति जागरूक किया जाए।मुख्यमंत्री ने आगाह करते हुए कहा कि इलाज के दौरान कई डॉक्टर और नर्स भी संक्रमण के चपेट में आ जा रहे हैं, ऐसे में चिकित्सकीय सेवा से जुड़ा हर कोई अपनी सुरक्षा के प्रति भी सतर्क रहे।

उन्होंने कहा कि सरकार की तरफ से बड़ी संख्या में थर्मल स्कैनर और पल्स नापने वाली आधुनिक मशीनें उपलब्ध करा दी गई हैं। जरूरत पड़ी तो और देंगे। इनका पूरा इस्तेमाल करें। ट्रेन या बसों के माध्यम से बाहर से जो भी लोग आ रहे हैं। सभी का स्टेशन पर ही स्वास्थ्य परीक्षण कराया जाए।

जिनमें संक्रमण का थोड़ा भी लक्षण दिखे, उन्हें क्वारंटीन सेंटरों में रखा जाए। उनके नमूने जांच के लिए भेजे जाएं और यह सुनिश्चित किया जाए कि किसी भी व्यक्ति को क्वारंटीन सेंटर में कोई दिक्कत न होने पाए। उनके खाने-पीने और सोने की अच्छी व्यवस्था की जाए।

दूसरे चरण में विकास परियोजनाओं की समीक्षा करते हुए मुख्यमंत्री ने सभी बड़ी विकास परियोजनाओं की धीमी गति पर नाराजगी जताई। उन्होंने निर्देश दिया कि बरसात के पहले हर हाल में मोहद्दीपुर-जंगल कौड़िया, असुरन-मेडिकल कॉलेज रोड और कॉलेसर-जंगल कौड़िया फोरलेन बाईपास समेत शहर के भीतर चल रहे सभी निर्माण पूरे कर लिए जाएं वर्ना संबंधित विभागों के अफसरों पर कार्रवाई होगी।

उन्होंने कहा कि कोरोना से बचाव के बीच विकास कार्यों पर भी ध्यान देना जरूरी है। इसमें लापरवाही नहीं होनी चाहिए।

स्वास्थ्य मंत्रालय द्वारा शनिवार सुबह जारी आंकड़ों के अनुसार, भारत में इस वायरस से संक्रमित लोगों की संख्या 1,25,101 हो गई है. पिछले 24 घंटों में कोरोना के 6,654 नए मामले सामने आए हैं और 137 लोगों की मौत हुई है.

दुनियाभर के देशों के साथ-साथ भारत में भी कोरोनावायरस (COVID-19) का कहर तेजी से बढ़ता जा रहा है. रिपोर्ट्स के अनुसार, 180 से ज्यादा देशों में फैल चुका यह वायरस अब तक सवा तीन लाख से ज्यादा जानें ले चुका है. दुनियाभर में 51 लाख से ज्यादा लोग इससे संक्रमित हो चुके हैं. यह आंकड़ा हर रोज बढ़ता जा रहा है. स्वास्थ्य मंत्रालय द्वारा शनिवार सुबह जारी आंकड़ों के अनुसार, भारत में इस वायरस से संक्रमित लोगों की संख्या 1,25,101 हो गई है. पिछले 24 घंटों में कोरोना के 6,654 नए मामले सामने आए हैं और 137 लोगों की मौत हुई है.

नागरिक उड्डयन मंत्री हरदीप सिंह पुरी ने सोमवार से घरेलू उड़ानों को फिर से शुरू करने के मानदंडों को स्पष्ट करने के लिए जनता के साथ एक ऑनलाइन चर्चा के दौरान कहा कि आरोग्य सेतु ऐप पर ग्रीन स्टेटस दिखाने वाले हवाई यात्रियों को क्वारेंटीन किए जाने की आवश्यकता नहीं है. उन्होंने बताया कि जून मध्य से अंतरराष्ट्रीय उड़ानें भी शुरू की जा सकती हैं.

PIA crash: At least 57 bodies have been recovered from the site of the crash, but it cannot be said they all are of the people on board as the plane crashed on four-five houses.

An Airbus A320 of the Pakistan International Airlines descends dangerously close to the houses in a densely populated residential area of Karachi, less than a kilometer from the airport where it was trying to land, and hits one of the buildings, tail first. There is an explosion and within a fraction of a second, thick plumes of black smoke rise in the air. All this, captured on a CCTV camera on the roof of one of the houses in the same locality.

There were 99 people on board flight PK-8303 that took off from Lahore and was to land at the Jinnah International Airport in Karachi this afternoon.

At least 57 bodies have been recovered from the site of the crash.

"But we are still to determine whether these 57 people were all on board the flight or include area residents as a number of houses have been badly damaged by the aircraft when it crashed," Sindh Health Minister Azra Pechuho was quoted as saying by news agency PTI.

Three passengers, miraculously, survived.

The plane, according to reports, was attempting to land for a second time after cancelling the previous attempt in a routine maneuver known as a go-around. In the final moments before the crash, recorded on a flight tracking website, one of the pilots can be heard telling the Air Traffic Controller that they had lost both the engines, before sending the international distress message, "Mayday, Mayday, Mayday".

Eyewitnesses said the plane first hit a mobile tower and crashed over houses in Jinnah Garden area near Model Colony in Malir. The wreckage and several houses in the area caught fire, visuals by Pakistan media earlier in the day showed.

The crash comes just a week after Pakistan resumed flights which had been grounded over a lockdown due to the coronavirus pandemic.

This is the first major aircraft crash in Pakistan after December 7, 2016 when a PIA ATR-42 aircraft from Chitral to Islamabad crashed midway, killing all 48 on board.

The Delhi government on Friday said it will pay for train travel of migrant workers stranded in the national capital to their native places as most of the states are yet to respond to its communication on the matter.

According to current guidelines, the central government and the home state of the migrant workers are bearing the cost of the travel, a Delhi government statement said.

The Delhi government has already reached out to the respective states with the list of migrant workers stranded in the national capital, the statement said.

"Most of these states are yet to respond on the matter of bearing travel costs of these stranded people. The Delhi government has taken the decision to bear the cost to avoid any further inconvenience to stranded workers," the statement added.

A special train carrying nearly 1,200 migrant labourers departed from New Delhi Railway station to Muzaffarpur in Bihar on Friday.

The Delhi government ensured safe travel, social distancing, food and water for all the passengers, the statement said.

"The train carrying 1,200 migrant labourers left for Muzaffarpur, Bihar today. The Arvind Kejriwal government will bear their full travel cost," tweeted Cabinet Minister Gopal Rai.

The Delhi government arranged several buses to bring these workers from shelters across Delhi. Teams of doctors were appointed to screen them and after thorough checkup, medical certificate was issued to each one of them, the statement said.

To ensure social distancing, the Delhi government permitted only 12 people on a bus while taking the migrant workers to the railway station. Thermal screening of the passengers was also done before boarding the bus, it added.

The Delhi government also appointed civil defence volunteers at each of these buses. The volunteers distributed masks to every passenger and instructed them to ensure social distancing. The volunteers also asked them to wash their hands from time to time, it said.

The death toll due to the coronavirus pandemic rose to 1,583 on Monday while the total numbers of infections jumped to 46, 711.

Mumbai closed all its non-essential stores and liquor shops. Only essential services will be available from Wednesday. The death toll in the state touched 617. Mumbai alone reported 26 deaths since Monday.

According to the latest update by the Health Ministry, the total number of cases in the country now stand at 46,711 and the death toll jumped to 1,583. As many as 3,900 new covid19 cases and 195 fatalities were reported in the last 24 hours, the biggest spike in a single day, the health ministry said on Tuesday. The government Tuesday also suspended all existing visas granted to foreign nationals, barring a few categories, till international air travel to and from India remains shut due to the coronavirus pandemic, an order by the Ministry of Home Affairs said. The ministry said it has kept in abeyance multiple-entry life-long visas given to Overseas Citizens of India (OCI) card holders till international travel remains suspended.
