England was too much to handle for tigers.
The tigers did not have the best day with the bat and England just didn't shy away from taking advantage of that very fact .
From getting eliminated at the '15 WC by Bangladesh to annihilate the same team , England has come a long way
The yesterday match day review
The Windies the defending champions were expected to put up a defiant fight but seems like the shine of the golden boys have gone for a toss .
The big guns Gayle , pollard , bravo, russel have failed to fire big time and that has caused them to be on the brink of elimination unless a huge miracle saves them
On the other hand CSA has gone on full woke mode, De kock seems to face consequences on his stand of BLM . After Faf , Morris now De kock might just be on the way to his exit .
However Nortje does what he does best .... Pick wickets and strangle the opposition . Superb performance . A special mention to Keshav maharaj who was phenomenal yesterday
75th Independence Day!
Every Independence Day, I come across several posts about how you don’t need a day to love your country and how it should not be a day full of grandeur but a lifetime of progress and improvements.
Well, I both agree and disagree. I agree that you don’t need a special day to love your country and that it should result in a constant improvement in the well being of the people. I disagree with the point that it should not be about grandeur on the day. You don’t need a special day to love your partner, but you celebrate anniversaries, don’t you? You don’t need a special day to pamper yourself, but you celebrate birthdays, don’t you?
You don’t need a special day to reflect and improve on things that you lack, but you need a day of celebration of the things that you have. To fill a sense of pride and love towards the land that gave you everything. Today is not about any political or social ideology. It’s about the land, my land, and the people who have fallen protecting it or are out there in unfavourable conditions doing the same. People who have no idea about your existence; out there trying to keep you safe from the dangers of the world.
Today we enter the 75th year of our independence. We have come a long way from where the Mughals and then the British left us. While we are entering the 75th year of our independence, we are a civilisation that has survived for 1000s of years. Those many years of wisdom and the youthfulness of the nation will only take us forward from hereon.
In the end, all I would like to do is quote Atal Bihari Vajpayee ji,

We the people of India more often than not do not take any responsibility for the betterment of our lifestyle . The common conception is that , we have elected a government and it is its responsibility to keep us good . Moreover if any organisation tries to help us out and puts in effort to make our lives better we deligently sh*t on their efforts and then quote our very own standard INDIAN line "यहां तो ऐसा ही होता है ?" । My question is "आरे भाई ऐसा क्यूं होता है ?"
Please let us start taking some responsibilities.
Please share if you can relate . I urge you humbly . Please
