Jabir b. Samura reported that Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) had a broad mouth with large, open eyes, and lean heels.
The reporter Shu'ba says:I said to Simak (reporter before him in the chain of hadith): What does this dali-ul-fam mean? And he said: This means broad mouth. I said: What does this ashkal mean? He said: Long in the slit of the eye. I said: What is this manhus-ul-aqibain? He said: It implies little flesh at the heels.

This Hadith paints a vivid image of the physical and sensory qualities of the Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ). It describes his fair complexion, highlighting the radiance of his perspiration akin to glistening pearls. The mention of his manner of walking, leaning slightly forward, adds to the imagery of his gentle and noble demeanor.
The comparison of the softness of brocade and silk to the palm of the Prophet emphasizes his inherent softness. Furthermore, the description of his fragrance, surpassing even the most exquisite scents like musk and ambergris, underlines his unmatched and captivating presence. The Hadith summarizes the unparalleled grace and beauty that characterized the beloved Prophet (ﷺ).

This hadith beautifully illustrates the profound love and admiration the honorable companions of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ held for him. They cherished and revered the Prophet ﷺ so deeply that they would meticulously recount and pass on to those after them every detail of his physical and moral attributes.
In this hadith, narrated by Al-Bara' bin 'Azib (may Allah be pleased with him), we learn of a characteristic of the Prophet (peace be upon him) – that he was of moderate height, not too tall or too short, with a broad chest and a stature that stood between being overly built and frail. His hair was of moderate length, extending to the lobes of his ear, and in some hadith it has been mentioned it reaches up to the shoulders. He would sometimes wear a 'hulla', a type of garment comprising an 'izar' (lower garment) and a 'rida' (upper garment). The color of this 'hulla' was described as red.
Al-Bara' further mentions that he had never seen anyone or anything more beautiful than the Prophet ﷺ. In another narration

The Hadith highlights the idea that Allah appreciates observing the effects and manifestations of His blessings in the lives of His servants. The hadith underscores the significance of expressing gratitude visibly and tangibly and encourages believers to live reflectively, constantly aware of the blessings bestowed upon them.
By striving to embody the signs of Allah's bounties, individuals can cultivate a spirit of gratitude in their daily lives and can have a positive impact on others as well. It is a reminder to be conscious of these blessings and to let them shine through one's character, actions, and conduct, all of which are pleasing to Allah.

This hadith emphasizes the importance of standing up for and protecting the dignity and honor of one's fellow believers especially in their absence. It teaches us that when we actively defend and support our brothers and sisters in Islam, particularly in situations where their honor or reputation may be at stake through gossips and rumours, Allah will reward us by safeguarding us from the punishment of Hell on the Day of Judgment.

In the Hadith, the Prophet (peace be upon him) warns against consulting fortune-tellers and seeking their predictions or advice. He emphasizes that whoever visits a fortune-teller and asks them about anything will have their prayers rejected by Allah for a period of forty nights. This stern warning is meant to discourage Muslims from indulging in practices associated with fortune-telling, divination, and seeking knowledge of the unseen through illegitimate means.

The Hadith highlights the Islamic stance on seeking divine knowledge and guidance. Muslims are encouraged to turn to Allah through prayer and supplication for guidance and to have faith in His wisdom and decree. Consulting fortune-tellers is considered a form of superstition and a deviation from the Islamic belief in the comprehensive knowledge and wisdom of Allah.

Allah, the Almighty, revives the heart of the person who remembers Him, and makes His remembrance easy for him. His similitude is that of a living person because he remembers Allah continuously. On the contrary, the person who does not remember Allah is like a dead person who has ceased to exit. His body is alive, but his heart is dead. This is a parable that people should learn a lesson from. They should be aware that the less a person is heedful of the remembrance of Allah, the more hardened his heart becomes, and may even his heart may die, we seek refuge in Allah from that. Allah, the Almighty, says: {And is the one who was dead and We brought him into life, and gave him light by which walks among people like the one who is in darkness, never coming out therefrom?} [Sūrat al-An‘ām: 22].
