I thought it would be an easy ride...

1. They said, "Work from anywhere you want, near a beach or in a hotel suite" (who knew the Wi-fi in hotels would be so bad!)

2. "Work with anyone you want", they said. (Yes, I can choose my clients, but still being picky with clients is not as easy as it sounds to be!)

3. Work anytime you want (Yes, clearly skipping my sleep schedule to set up meetings with international clients!)

Freelancing is a term that many people are yet to discover, but it's also the dream of thousands of people who want to quit their traditional job.

While freelancing is not a path full of petals, it is worth the effort and hard work.

If you are planning to become a freelancer persuaded only by the positive side of the freelancing world, the harsh truth is that you cannot survive long enough to make it to the top.
