Poongri and Poongpi came to meet their mother at NIBA Hospital the other day.
Poongri said” Abo! Ane Aap dono ke liye hum kuch leke aaya hai, Dekhega?”
I said “Dikhao.”
She showed me this letter.
It reads - “get well soon Ane”
“I miss you mom and Dad”
“I Love you Ane”
And drawn the picture of us.

Looking at her letter, I couldn’t stop my tears.
I said “ Ane aur Nana Zaldi ghar aa jayega.


Wishing my loved once to be back home asap.

Not to boast, but when we work for the betterment of society without succumbing to ill intentions of contractors, we receive appreciation from the society and the government. It has been observed that as field engineers, we are threatened and pressurized from many angles to compromise with good workmanship, and the fear of losing a few bucks of incentive has forced many of us to comply with wrong practices.
This post is not intended to belittle my colleagues or anyone, but we should remember that we are the employers; the contractors are not. Actually, they are supposed to work under our command.
A few years back, I was awarded by the Tayu Charitable Society. I received these mementos and a Mithun. And a year later, I received a commendation from the Administration on the occasion of 76th Independence Day. This act of appreciation has encouraged me a lot and makes me want to do more.
Lastly, thank you to the Ato Tayu Charitable Society and the General Administration, Chayangtajo, for the recognition and motivation.
It means a lot to me.
