People of lower muthi lead by Exsarpanch Muthi Rajroop Singh chib Protested against NHAI and other concerned Authorities for not mainting guardrails on road sides at pitholes and drains. Speaking to media he said it is due to ignorance of authorities that people are falling in drain.Improper slopes and unguarded drainages are leading to accidents and many road hazards.

Today KOTLI COLONY WELFARE TRUST has organised a programme at Jammu on which short movie named "ANDHERA UJALA" has been launched by reknown politician and BJP leader Devinder Singh Rana. SP North Jammu Kulbir Handa is Guest of honour , Ex Dy Mayor Dharamveer Singh Jamwal and Social Activist Chandan Datta are special Guest.

Andhera Ujala movie on Swach Bharat has been produced and acted by reknown famous actor and artist Sh Dharun kesar who always give a message to society through his noble work . DK is a reknown artist who understood the brain if people and contribute his best to aware society through his message oriented work.

Chief Guest Devinder Singh Rana appraised the work of whole team of ANDHERA UJALA and appreciate DKs role for such a noble work to aware masses through his talented skill. *Gang of notorious chain snatchers busted; 3 arrested, 4 snatched gold chains recovered*

JAMMU : Several complaints were lodged in P/S Domana regarding chain snatching in Pouni chak area under the jurisdiction of P/S Domana.

On this, two cases 274/2021 u/s 382 IPC and FIR No 282/2021 u/s 382 IPC were registered in P/S Domana and investigation started.

After this special police teams of PS Domana under the supervision of *SDPO Domana Sunil Singh* were constituted.The team led by *SHO P/S Domana Inspr. Mahesh Sharma* assisted by *I/C PP Pouni Chak PSI Nitish Khajuria* did hectic efforts and with the help of CCTV footages of the area, finally arrested the three accused involved in various chain snatching incidents. The accused arrested have been identified as
1) Ashok Singh chib @ Shunny S/o Kamal Singh R/o Sari Rakwala Gho Manhasan Jammu
2) Sunil Kumar @ sunny S/o Jagar Ram R/o Bhadrore Gho Manhasan Jammu 3) Dalvir Singh @ Aadil S/o Hardeep Singh R/o Chak laldin Gho Manhasan Jammu. On their disclosure, 04 Gold chains weighing about 04 Tolas worth 02 Lakh approx., one M/cycle bearing Regd No. JK02BK0928 and one scooty bearing Regd No. JK02CN 9515 which were used for snatching were also recovered from them.

The whole operation was done under the overall supervision of *SP Rural Sanjay Sharma.*

Further investigation of the cases is going on.

Today Mouth Cancer Awareness Day (MCAD) was observed in the Department Of Public Health Dentistry at Institute of Dental Sciences, Jammu on the lines of an annual campaign being run by the Mouth Head and Neck Cancer Awareness Group of IRELAND.
The Principal of the college, DR. SARBJEET SINGH was present on the occasion accompanied by all HODs , interns and final year students of the institute who participated in the awareness programme. Various speakers took part in the programme who highlighted the public and professional awareness of mouth head & neck Cancer and the link between alcohol and these cancers. Promote early detection and encourage earlier presentation with signs and concerns about mouth head and neck cancer to improve potential outcomes.
A skit was also staged by the final year students showing the harmful effects of alcohol and to***co related products leading to Oral Cancer.
Few patients were also in the programme who were later given informative pamphlets. Programme was culminated by vote of thanks which was presented by DR ESHA BALI Head , Department of Public Health Dentistry.
