Sunset seen from one of our camps in Tarsar Marsar Treks on the peak of Mt Kolahoi . The glacier is most likely Kolahoi glacier which lies in the Valley Of Kashmir 16kms from Pahalgam . The glacier towers above in whole valley as you go for Tarsar Marsar lake Trek in Kashmir .This trek can be done in months extending from July to September .

When you are destined to be at the place at that moment , you will be there and as someone said , the whole world around you will transpire to make it a reality .

Such was the story how i ended up celebrating my birthday at one of the most glorious hindu temples of recent times . I went on a trip to kerala to witness this Padmanabhaswamy Temple on the 21st March , to witness the magic of sunset and the sunrays passing through the doors of the temples all in a single line . This happens only twice in a year . We not only had a great darshan but also saw the magnificent spectacle of sun rays passing through the doors of the sun while sunset happened. All thanks to my friend who took such amazing pictures.

If you want to visit the temple on 1 day visit always remember the temple is hardly 1.5kms from railway starion Trivandrum Junction . We took a fast train from Varkala which took us 40mins to reach the station . Then an auto rickshaw which took 10mins to reach the temple . You cant go inside the temple in normal clothes you have to change your clothes to fresh lungi and all the luggage including phone devices are to be submitted in a cloak room . Entering the place in fresh clothes has a devine feeling in itself but you have to learn fast how to handle a lungi as the lungi may start to loosen up . Jokes apart the whole place has an amazing positive energy .
