An event is more than a brand moment it’s a direct reflection of the marketing team’s strategy and effort.
Here are some: Tips and Tricks for hosting an Influencer Event
1. Communication is the key!
Ensure that you know your why- what do you wanna communicate through this event discuss it ahead with the client and ensure that is communicated to the influencers from the first reachout onwards!
2. Being part of it directly
You might have a whole team to do it but I insist you do it yourself - the one who has a relationship with them - the impact is 2x!
3. Transparency Matter
Your client should know every detail so that by the end of it their expectations are set straight - you are getting paid for calling the influencers, the end result is not in your hands!
4. Too Many Events can distract your audience and engagement!
Choose a date with no major event clashes. Too many events can split the audience, so selecting the right date ensures exclusivity and better turnout.
5. We learn from our mistakes
Call 150% of your capacity trust me, last moment cancellations are a big thing in the industry!
6. First to enter ~ Last to Exit
The event never starts on time in India - hold your breath for the first hour - your sanity and proactive thinking at this point will change the game for you!
7. Your Interactions Define Everything!
I always stood at the entrance at my events - the host should be the person they see when they enter for the first time and not run around like a headless chicken looking for you and to understand what to do at the event!
8. Most important part is to have fun and enjoy with the vibe!
Ensure your team has fun, including the photographers - calling influencers is the most fun opportunity to get fun content out of people and till the hosts are not having fun the attendees will not be on the same page!
