Manthan Patel: My father, Mr. Jayesh Patel, is my role model. He was always an inspiration and It is only because of him I decided to become an entrepreneur. He decided to get into cable manufacturing back in 1978. Since then he has continued to move on with technology and different types of data cables that evolved with time. He started with cables that were used in Black and white TVs, moved on to CO-Axial Cables then to LAN Cables and now we are into Optical Fibre Cables.
Back in 7th STD, I had decided to follow my father and brother, Mr. Deepak Patel. So, after completing my engineering, I join the family business immediately.
Before joining the company in 2012, I was firm and dedicated to starting on the manufacturing of Optical Fibre Cables. So When I joined in 2012, along with getting trained with all existing things, I simultaneously worked on getting new machines and understanding the technology behind making Optical Fibre Cables.
I started with sweeping the floor, learning the machines in our production facility, moved on to meeting customers and finding new ones.
Back in the late 1980s, my father faced a situation where we thought that this was the end, he wanted to shut down the factory. But he kept his calm and struggled through it all by himself and achieved everything that he has today.
Alambre Cables Pvt Ltd: Our business is mainly focused on anything and everything related to Data Cables. LAN Cables (essential for internet connectivity), Optical Fibre Cables (Backbone and again an essential for internet/Television/Telecom), Co-Axial Cables, CCTV Cables and a lot of customized cables depending on customer requirements.
Once we get a customer on board, we treat them as our family-- their problem is our problem.
Today, my brother and I are dedicated to making our company one of the leading and reputed cable manufacturers across the globe.
One important thing that I learned from my Father and my Brother is that “HONESTY IS THE BEST POLICY”. The day we lose honesty, is the day when we start losing our business and our reputation in the industry. In Today’s world, all people do is run after making more profits – which is ok. But at what cost?
